Even though this screen was made to easily interface with a Raspberry Pi, it can technically be used as a monitor for anything with an HDMI output, and the touch panel works over USB. I'm currently working on a project to use this as a secondary gauge display for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 to make it easier to interact with. Just be aware that it's a raw panel with no case whatsover, but it does include some nice adapters to make it essentially plug-and-play with the custom RPi case for this. The display is bright and clear, and the capacitive touch is very responsive, making it a very good option at a very good pricepoint.

You can see in the photo with the flower that the resolution is impressive.I unplugged my computer monitor and plugged it directly into the tiny screen and it kept the same 1440p resolution. It's TINY though, so you'll need to squint to see the mouse cursor.Playing a high res video was impressive.Note that the native resolution is 1440 horizontal by 2560 vertical (this means Portrait mode) if your source or operating system doesn't have a rotation option built-in, you'll be viewing this in portrait mode.In one of the photos you can see that a Raspberry Pi sets up in portrait mode. I was able to turn image once setup was completed. They include 2 sets of HDMI and USB jumpers that work for Pi 4 and even a Pi 2 to keep a small footprint.Something to note is that I only had to power my Pi 4 as the jumpers powered the screen through the Pi.When using it with Windows, I had to use a microusb power cable to power the screen. The board does allow scaling so you can feed it lower resolutions and it will fill the screen. For example I was able to send it 1920x1080, 1024x768 and it would try to fill the full width of the screen. In Windows it reported that it could only refresh at 50hz.I believe the board is great if used for its intended purpose which I believe is for development and testing with a Pi. I didn't get an enclosure that they make for the Pi, but I think it would be useful. I also wish that they would offer some type of enclosure to make it into a mini-monitor.All in all, I think this is good value for the resolution.

I often forget how much DIY most Raspberry PI devices are. This contains everything you need to connect to a display AND touch screen controls along with mounting hardware. If you wanted a UI for a kiosk or a remote control car, this is all setup. This is perfect for any project.

I bought this to replace my pc sensor screen and it worked for a couple of days. Then it wouldn’t display a videos signal. I was able to exchange it for another but that one didn’t work at all. I confirmed my setup with a known good display and it worked so I know it’s not my hdmi or usb cable. This was the perfect size for what I needed. I guess I have to buy the amoled version which has higher reviews
