Einen Nachteil hat es leider die microSd lässt sich leider nicht wechseln ohne zerlegen.Schade

I was hesitant to purchase this given some of the reviews. However, my experience has been nothing short of delighted.While not rocket science, some basic assembly instructions would be nice (none supplied). I received multiple ribbon cables, different sized offsets, and more offsets and screws than actually required. So it took me a minute to get oriented, especially given the Raspberry Pi needs to be installed upside down. However, using the pictures on the Amazon page were more than sufficient to figure this out. Once assembled, the whole thing fit together nicely and the various ports on the Raspberry Pi 4 align well with the cutouts on the box. I added my own rubber feet to allow space for fan ventilation as none were supplied.I initially installed a fresh copy of Raspberry Pi full desktop OS and booted into the GUI. The display and touchscreen worked flawlessly with the default drivers and configuration. GUI elements were sharp and focused, colors were vibrant and the touchscreen is accurate when interfacing with the GUI. A touchscreen keyboard is built into Raspberry Pi OS, but takes up most of the screen when in use.I next installed the Raspberry Pi minimal OS as my real intent is to build a device with a custom embedded application and my own minimal interactive screens. Again, I was able to boot up and see the command line displayed using only the default drivers and configuration. In building my embedded application, I'm easily able to display graphics in full color and read touchscreen events using a simple C program wrapped in a BASH script. I've installed none of the available Linux touchscreen packages and I'm able to read touchscreen events and related x,y coordinates simply using the default Linux /dev/input/event#. I did, however, install evtest to determine what event# was tied to the touchscreen. Once that was determined, I uninstalled evtest leaving me again with nothing more than Raspberry Pi minimal OS and my custom BASH and C code.I'm very happy with this purchase. For the price, ease of setup (i.e., none with respect to the OS) and performance, it's a nice product. I will purchase more of these.Hey Waveshare - I'd like to see this item customized to fit the Raspberry Pi 5 as I could use the additional performance and an on/off button.

Das Produkt selbst funktioniert wie es soll auf einem raspi 4b. Was mich etwas stört, eine Bauanleitung fehlt. 3 Flachbandkabel sind dabei, eines wird gebraucht.Der 2. Kritikpunkt ist, einmal zusammen gesteckt, lässt sich der Bildschirm, der gleichzeitig als Deckel fungiert, nicht mehr vernünftig abnehmen. Der 3.5mm Klinke Anschluss vem raspi verhakt sich mit dem Gehäuse und muss mit "sanfter Gewalt" gelöst werden. Also ein Probelauf vor dem finalen Zusammenbau ist dringend anzuraten.

Il kit arriva ben imballato e si monta pochi minuti senza bisogno di istruzioni.Sono presenti due flex per il collegamento alla porta del display del Raspberry.Il monitor è luuminoso e con ottimo contrasto.Con pochi cm in più rispetto a quello da 3.5" si riesce a utilizzare lo schermo in modo più comodo.Se non è vincolante il dover rimanere entro la sagoma del Raspberry lo consiglio al posto di quello da 3.5".Una volta collegato il flex alla porta sul Raspberry diventa un pò difficoltoso inserire o estrarre la micro SD con il sistema operativo.Forse potrebbe costare leggermente meno, ma per il momento ne sono più che soddisfatto.

Just thought I'm gonna post few things here as a review, answers to questions I've been asking myself before I bought it.The quality of the case is very nice, it isn't cheap plastic and even though it does say its 3D printed and you may feel the surfaces is a little bit rough, its not the case at all, at least with the one I bought.Now, the screen quality is very good, the picture is crisp and nice, even for such a small screen. Really happy with that.The 5V fan is quiet, I used to have a bigger fan in another case, connected to 3.3V GPIO pin (lower power, less noise) and this one is as much quiet as that one I had.The fan is mounted in the back of the case and I have the case hanging on the wall with the fan side facing the wall with the 5mm gap in between, still Pi (DietPi) operates at optimal temperature of ~44°C which is nice. I've stress tested it (CPU+Memory+Storage) and it maxed to 57°C which is still very spot on and very acceptable so the fan does the job very well.Screen itself is at normal room temperature, it doesn't heat up or anything similar.The case , screen and fan are very easy to assemble, really no instructions needed, just look at the photo here then check the GPIO diagram to connect the fan and thats you sorted.Good buy. Worth the price, looks nice and does the job.

The device was very easy to assemble and use, however having a printed manual would be beneficial.
