I got this display to go with a VIM3 (running AAOS for development purposes.) At times the display worked OK, but it had weird issues. Flickering to black, lines through the display, offset color channels, display reboots, etc. I tried many different HDMI sources and they all exhibited the issue within the first 1-2 minutes of use. For the current price near $100 I expected so much more. Better build, better QA. I await a replacement and hope it's functional.

The Waveshare 10.1inch Capacitive Touch LCD IPS Display, Without Back Case, 1280×800 Resolution, HDMI Interface, Compatible with Raspberry Pi 4B/3B+ etc. Support Jetson Nano/PCworks well and is a good sharp display.The wires come out on all sides so it can look cluttered and messy, but if used with Raspberry pis the included 90 degree adapters make for a very clean installation.I powered mine from a regular USB adapter as well I tried a USB PD adapter and both worked fine to power it.I found the USB-C port for the touch connection to be very stiff, I really had to push it in to the point I was afraid I was going to break it.It comes with a USB A to C cable, and HDMI cable, as well as two different USB A to C circuit boards for a right angled connections, also has an HDMI to HDMI 90° circuit board adapter and an HDMI to micro HDMI 90°circuit board adapter.Includes standoffs to mount the Pi or other single board computer.The touch input works as well.It's competitively priced and you get a good value for your money at ~$130 at the time of this review.

Habe mir diesen Touch Bildschirm gekauft für meine Home Assistant, die Raspberry Pi Platine kann direkt auf die Rückseite geschraubt werden. Praktischerweise bekommt man USB Brücken für die direkte Verbindung. Die Bildschirmqualität ist gut und das Touchfeld ist nicht klobig. Es gibt kein Gehäuse zu kaufen, habe mir das mit meinem 3D Drucker angefertigt, die Touchpanel Platine ist nicht symmetrisch auf der Rückseite, musste mit einem etwas größeren Messschieber die krummen Maße aufnehmen.Auf dem zweiten Bild ist ein Raspberry Pi 4 B mit Kühlkörper montiert.Diese Datei auf Oneshape suchen: "Waveshare 10.1 inch Case with raspberry Pi4 mounted".Die Positionen der Platine kann abweichen, weshalb ihr die Datei auch anpassen könnt.

It has good contrast ratio and quite bright with clear colours. The resolution is as stated and I like several input methods. Wish it came with some sort of a stand. I’m having to 3D print my own.

Spent months designing a custom open frame E-ATX desktop workstation PC case. Needed to make some use out of the otherwise IMHO hideous unused blank space on the front panel.No, I didn't design a standard width pc case and I needed non-standard right handed access panel not a left sided access case as all the rest are built. AMD 12 and 24 core Threadrippers have massive forced air coolers and sometimes don't fit inside a standard pc case as I found out the hard way! SendCutSend fabricated my parts.After weeks of thought, why not for fun integrate a touch screen display? So the frameless Waveshare 10.1inch Capacitive Touch LCD IPS Display fit the bill. After making the mandatory connections to the ports on the ASUS ROG STRIX X399-E motherboard and the video card. It fired right up on first boot!Main 5v power was taken from the +5v pin that powers the little speaker/buzzer and the ground pin immediately next to it. From a 'net search, it is rated for 1 amp. I hacked a USB C charger cable with USB C on one end and an 8 pin female connector on the other. I also incorporated the speaker/buzzer into the same connector for an all in one cable.The rest of the hookup were the standard DP to HDMI cable and a male pin to dual USB socket converter slipped over the male pins of one of the available motherboard dual USB ports.You'll have to figure out for your situation where and how to mount the Waveshare's display button control board and possibly having to modify or create its custom connecting cable.I intended at first to use the 10" display for slideshows, a fish tank screensaver or turn it off. Or use it for displaying a computer status dashboard etc. Otherwise, my main displays are LG 27" UHD's. The workstation will boot with only the 10" display itself plugged into the first DP slot of the video card.

This 10.1-inch monitor from Waveshare is a solid option if you're into Raspberry Pi projects or similar setups. It has a nice display, with the right amount of sharpness and brightness for most indoor uses. It was also super easy to connect and get working with my Raspberry Pi 4. The touchscreen is pretty responsive too. All of this for a good price, especially since it has those handy 90-degree adapters for both HDMI and USB-C.There are a couple of minor things to watch out for. The cables can get a bit messy if you're not careful, and the USB-C port for the touch function felt stiff when I first plugged it in. Also, remember that it doesn't come with a power adapter.Overall, I'd recommend this Waveshare monitor to anyone looking to add a display and touchscreen capabilities to their Raspberry Pi or other small computers.

Das Display ist gut verarbeitet und lässt sich recht einfach ans System anschließen.Es sind bereits USB-C und HMDI Steckplätze vorhanden, weshalb man theoretisch direkt los legen kann.Die Farbwiedergabe ist echt gut und die Helligkeit ist mehr als ausreichend.Ich bin sehr zufrieden mit dem Display

Das Panel ist sehr leicht installiert und hat auch schon USB-C verbaut.Je nachdem welches Setting man bereits hat, kann man also ohne Umschweifeso ziemlich direkt loslegen.Der Touchscreen at eine gute Reaktionszeit und die Auflösung und Helligkeit gehenabsolut in Ordnung.Der Screen wirkt auch generell qualitativ gut und die Preis-Leistung passt.5 Sterne.

Eingesteckt und schon hat man einen Touchscreen (raspian OS)Farben sind gut, Helligkeit gut bis ausreichend, noch nicht in der Sommersonne getestet.Relativ flach, steht ca 1cm von der Wand ab, suche noch eine Aufhängung. Werde es vermutlich auf ein Blech schrauben, welches ich auf Schrauben an der Wand einhänge.Alles sonst wie beschrieben.

Display Top für den Preis, leider ist der mitgelieferter Adapter (USB C Adapter (B)) für das Touchdisplaydefekt. Lange suche bis ich ein Kabel eingesteckt hab. Des weiteren könnte für die Stromversorgung des Display ähnlich wie Adapter bei HDMI für Raspi 3 ein Adapter 2xUSB C übereinander angeordnet für einen Raspi 4 beiliegen, deswegen 2 Sterne Abzug

Inzwischen haben wir von diesen Displays zwei Stück im Einsatz. Benutzen diese als Touch Screen für Home Assistent mit Raspberry Pei im Kiosk mod. Funktioniert perfekt!
