There's nothing I disliked about this set of closeup lenses. These are really nice, they work very well, and come in a case that's really nice also. My other set came in a dinky, cheap crap leather-appearing plastic/fabric/cardboard/whatever the substance is case that just doesn't cut it. This one does it in spades, not to mention, it's nice looking also. Not just an ugly utilitarian cheapie. This set is done right, and for such a paltry sum. Nice job, Vivitar. Kudos on this one; it's a keeper. Bless

I have only used the 10x and 4x lenses out of this set. Once you set your camera up correctly, i.e. at a max telephoto setting, and get used to only having a very narrow slice of the world in focus, these can take some very interesting and fun pictures. After playing with them for a few weeks, I went out and bought a macro lens for my Sony NEX 7. The time spent with these lenses let me know that I was indeed going to stay interested in macro for the long haul.

I really loved this product because first of all its cheap, there well built and it gets me close enough to my subjects. I love how easy they work and if you stop down your DOP to your lenses highest f stop with all the filters on you can get a really decently sharp picture. There fun if you just want mess around in your back yard and capture some pictures of insects and plants. I recommend this product to anyone that's on a budget and doesn't want to overspend on a macro lens. Ill be posting some of my pictures I've taken with these macro close up filters.
