This thing is a beast. I've wowed my friends and people at events with food that comes out of this. Pizza? Ready in 20 mins. Veggies and corn? Whole turkey took 2 hours to cook. Salmon, top sirloin, young potatoes, ribs, bread, meat pie, pork, boar, deer... Everything comes out so well done, very quickly, and very juicy and tender on the inside!!!! FYI, a week later I bought it for 120$, I found it in stock in wallmart canada for 100$.

Ottimo.

Excellent well made little smoker/ Bbq used a number of times now and really like this, you will need to add a thermometer as it doesn't come with one, very easy to fit one for a fiver. Overall very happy bbqer 🍖🙌

der Tischgrill fungiert bei mir als sidefirebox für den Outlaw....erfüllt seine aufgabe, ob mit holz oder kohle befeuert wird....nur denke ich, das ich bei Zeiten mit hitzelack nacharbeiten darf

I purchased this clever grilling product as the firebox to an offset smoker. In this case I'm adding it to my Char Griller 2123 Wrangler. The result looks so much like the Char Griller 1224 Smokin' Pro that I suspect someone else figured the obvious. By itself the Wrangler is a superb barrel grill, capable of an excellent level of heat. I've done prolonged heating and smoking in the Wrangler using indirect heating with the smoke stack wide open, thereby keeping the chamber itself from acting like an oven, which with the efficient flanged lid can result in 450 degree heat when using dried wooden branches 8 inches in length. The firebox will permit a greater range of low heat, and will be a lot easier to add coals and/or wood to prolong and season the smoke. Because the 2424 lacks a smokestack and is smaller, you're limited in how and what you're going to grill; roasts are a real challenge, for instance, but something cute, such as wings, a chop or a steak-- well it's nice and quick. It's cute and workable as a tabletop grill, certainly better than a hibachi, because you can close it if you wish. But it really makes the Wrangler a fine smoker while maintaining the Wrangler's excellent performance as a grill. It's the small size of the Wrangler combined with this firebox that gives the combination excellent versatility as a smoker and as a grill. I found it a lot nicer to use than the CharBroil offset smoker that I once owned, because the smaller main grill body is easier to maintain heat. It's also better built with the sizable flange on the lid and the double bottom. As to setting this up as a smoker, indeed, the 2-2424 is probably different from the 2424 in that punching out the plate that attaches to the Wrangler body is insufficiently punched itself, so that it's virtually impossible to remove the larger cavity. You can, using a punch, drive out the screw holes and thereby directly attach the firebox to the grill, which is what I did. This works just fine, because as a smoker you're getting the maximum smoke out of the firebox using maximum opening for both vents in the firebox and adjusting the smokestack vent on the grill. As a smoker it's superb. I smoked 2 tritips and a couple of porterhouses for a 4 hour stint with marvelous results, using charcoal and 3 two inch diameter footlong pieces of fruitwood.
