Seems well made and functuons as expected and perfect for my use. Some extra small screws for plate were provided. I emailed Sunwayfoto that I was missing the screw and they responded quickly. Gotta love a company with great customer service. The only thing is the paint seems to chip easily, but overall based on my experience I would recommend this product and the company too.

This is a sturdy clamp, and both the rotation action and clamping, and tilt action and clamping, are spot on. Not too loose, not too tight. Good fit and finish. The only downside is that the arca clamp on top requires some work to rotate to left right instead of front back (or vice versa). The bolt is in with thread locker, so some force and care is required to loosen it. Be patient and careful and it will come.Underneath are two press fit pins. Mine were quite tight, and had some locker slurped onto them as well. But with some WD40 and some pliers and twisting and pulling out they came. Too bad these aren't tapped and threaded so set screws could be used instead...but then this would coast more.If you often flip the clamp you could easily loose those pins, and it would be more likely to spin the clamp even if tightened down. If the pins were fastened to the clamp it would work better.Another solution would be to use a different clamp, like a Desmond DAC X1. It has cutouts so it can fit in either orientation over the pins without needing to take them out.Or one could use arca clamps back-to-back; Desmond makes those as well (essentially clamps stacked on each other). That's because the top of the tilt head itself, once the clamp is off, is a square arca head. So a clamp can fit over it and clamp down, as long as the pins aren't in the way. But note that then you lose the safety feature the pins provide, which keeps the clamp from sliding off if it works a bit loose. Finally, if you don't want to mess with taking the clamp off at all, but need a left-right oriented plate, consider a short nodal rail. these clamp in like any arca plate, but on top of the plate is another clamp, oriented in the other direction. That's so you can slide i quite a ways fore and aft to find the nodal point for panoramas. Or as a quick and dirty macro rail for macro brackets—just slide it in the clamp a but forward and back. Sunway makes one, a long one. There are shorter ones so that they don't show in very wide lenses like fish eyes.

A tracker is a device that turns at exactly the same speed as earth rotates. If the axis id aligned with the axis of the earth, you can take a minutes-long exposure of the night sky without all the celestial objects becoming streaks / trails.I got this to replace a very large pan/tilt/rotate head I was using. This does everything I was using that head for - and saves me about 600g.The drill is pretty simple: level tripod, use rotation and tilt to point at the north Celestial Pole (close to Polaris, but offset about 20 degreed towards Kochab). Dead easy with the guide laser MSM sells. Both rotation and tilt lock down well. Several hours into a shoot, I'll use the guide laser to verify I'm still aimed correctly - and I am. Couldn't ask for more.Very nice build quality. As it is, my tracker, camera, and lens weigh about 5lbs; I can't speak to how well this'd work with heavier gear, but I'd expect it to be fine.

The rotation of the unit I received is very stiff.I think the locking dial shaft for the rotation could be longer as it would make it easier to turn and lock.
