Great silicon mat for baking! I bake a lot of sourdough at home and tend to use a lot of parchment paper everytime I bake. So pleased I could find a reusable alternate on Amazon! Works perfectly till 250C, not tested beyond that since my oven doesn’t get hotter than 250.

I am a novice bread maker who occasionally ends up with a good loaf of bread. What always annoyed me was trying to put the dough on a piece of parchment paper and then lowering it into a 400-degree cast iron dutch oven. I tried cutting the paper to minimize the folding but always ended up with crinkles around the edges of the loaf and frequently having the paper stuck to the bread. I saw this silicone sling on a baking video and immediately ordered one. While it can't improve poorly proofed dough, it does work extremely well for moving the dough into the dutch oven for baking and makes it easy to remove the dough after the loaf is baked. I'm very happy with this product. Now if I could only figure out the mysteries of sourdough bread.

Die Silikonbackmatte ist einfach genial. Einfach unter das Brot oder Gebäck legen und ab in den Ofen. Man bekommt es durch die Silikonbackmatte wunderbar aus dem Topf oder der Backform.Das Säubern geht einfach.

Die Backunterlage gemehlt und angeklebtes Brot gehört der Vergangenheit an. Zudem lässt sich der Teigling gut transportieren.

This is a great idea however as the sheet is so thick it leaves a small gap when you put the lid on the Dutch oven. So the base of my bread seemed very pale and the bread was flat! I have not used it since! I will give it another go and see if altering its position and/or placing it in the Dutch oven makes a difference?If someone else has a foolproof way of using this then do let me know.

Bei mir kommt die Silikonmatte oft zum Einsatz. So kann ich problemlos mein Brot in den vorgeheizten Topf legen ohne dass es schief aufkommt. Auch die Finger bleiben von der Hitze unversehrt ;)
