Es bietet eine Brennweitenäquivalenz von 12 mm (12,8 mm für Canon M) im 35 mm Format mit einem 180° Blickwinkel und einem minimalen Fokusabstand von 1 Zoll. Zwei asphärische Elemente und drei ED-Elemente minimieren Aberrationen und erzeugen klare, kontrastreiche und farbgenaue Bilder. Eine integrierte blütenförmige Gegenlichtblende hilft, Streulicht abzuleiten und schützt das vordere Element. Die spiegellosen Halterungen des Objektivs beinhalten Canon EF-M Mount, Fujifilm X Mount, Samsung NX Mount und Sony E Mount.

All main photo dealers in the UK had no stock of this lens. I was a little hesitant ordering from Amazon as there were very few recent reviews of this lens. However this was stocked and fulfilled by Amazon, so I took the plunge. Delivered same day and the lens is as expected. Good image and build quality, and made in South Korea.A great fun lens. The picture was taken from the inside of my fridge!

Exactly what I was looking for. Sharp lens.Spherical distortion can be removed in lightroom if you really want to.Build quality is good. All metal.Focus is smooth but in all fairness I imagine most of the shots focused to infinity with this lens.Pretty happy after 2 month of use. No need for an Amator to pay more.

For architectural and some landscape photography, this is going to be a great lens to have handy in my bag. I've played with it today and love the results. Good value lens.

I've recently become interested in doing night photography, particularly sky shots. I wanted to find a reasonably priced, fast fisheye lens and the Samyang 8mm caught my eye. I couldn't be more pleased with this lens on my Fuji XT2. It's tack sharp, the build quality is good, it's small and light, and extremely simple to focus manually -- just put it on infinity and you're good to go. The built in lens hood protects it, and the lens cap stays on securely while you're not using it. It even comes with a decent storage bag. I was never a fan of the "fisheye effect" but found that it's fun to use in moderation. What I really love about it is that if you level it, you can use this as an ultra wide angle lens and get an almost perfectly level horizon that just needs a slight "warp" fix in Photoshop. If I start to photograph people with this I'll try the Hemi plug in correction, but I haven't needed to use it yet. I'm very, very pleased!
