The unit seems well made and I can see why most of the reviews praise it. However, I am using this on an Evolution RB255 TBL table saw and the expansion collars in the track bar will not provide a zero clearance fit in any orientation, in either track slot. I tried the recommended orientation and the fit is loose on my table. no amount of adjustment will result in a zero clearance fit. When I say "loose" it's about 1mm which is about the same as the standard mitre gauge that came with the table. So in this respect it is not an upgrade for me. It's a big disappointment.

I needed a miter gauge and fence that expands to the right instead of the left. This one was easy enough to assemble in the that configuration. Once assembled it can be configured in several lengths and set to any angle. Once everything is tightened down, the thing is solid. However, since it is made from aluminum care should be taken not to over-tighten any of the fasteners. It's not the cylinder head on a diesel... Just a little over hand tight will do.The quality of this miter gauge is spot on. All of the parts fit together exactly as they should. The precision and squareness is spot on. Along with the miter gauge, telescoping fence, and settable stop; this kit comes with good instructions, some adhesive back measuring tape, and screws to mouth additional items such as a sacrificial wood face.The gauge and fence are easy top operate and the face of the fence stays true even when extended. This kit would be idea for a table saw, but I'll be using it on a band saw and a router table as my table saw has a sliding miter built in.This is my second woodworking item from O'Skool, and I am pleased with both of them.

I just got the chance to use this on my Delta 36-725 table saw and it worked beautifully, giving me perfectly repeatable crosscuts and easily switching from the right to left t-slots.Assembly took a little bit of time, with getting the adhesive rule on properly being the most difficult part, but still not that difficult. I don't intent to rely on the measurements on the fence for more than a guideline anyway so if it's off 1/16" it's no big deal. Build quality is really nice; I as able to get everything square and it glides through the t-slot without any play after proper adjustment. The flip-stop is super handy and easily adjustable.Overall I'm very happy with this miter gauge. I may build on to it for being able to support tall pieces and/or cross the blade to utilize both tracks for a more sled-like operation so I suppose some mounting holes in the fence would have been a nice addition, but even as-is I find it very useful.

I’m a DIY’r and really like this tool. First, the miter gauge is so much better than what came with my table saw – it has multiple stops at every 5 degrees, an ability to make adjustments to get it perfectly square (although mine came already square), it slides almost “play free” on my saw, and you can make some micro adjustments using the expansion collars to get it exactly how you want it (zero play).I haven’t used an extension fence before, instead I had to make my own jigs to cross cut larger pieces of wood – this is sooo much easier to use. Similar to the miter gauge, my fence came already square, but you can make minor corrections to get it square if it isn’t already. The stop is also an awesome piece of this tool for making repetitive / same sized cuts again and again. The fence can also be used on either side of the blade.The tool is well built and has some weight to it… not in a bad way, weight like it’s a solid tool. The weight also gives it some stability, which I really like. And not that it matters, but the color and look of the gauge and fence is cool too – functional and looks good.I’m using with a Skil TS6307 and it works great.I don’t have experience with any other similar tools to compare it to, so it could be other options have small niceties this one doesn’t… not sure, but I’m really glad I have this for my table saw.The only negative is having to figure out how to correctly get the measuring tape cut and installed – I would suggest dry fitting first to make sure it gets applied correctly.
