Not so sharp as knife collectors are waiting. Beauty of simple lines. What I did? First I sharpened It as I liked. Second I treated with lemon acid to protect surface of carbon steel. Now It's what about I had in my brain picture

I put together a special wild west bushcraft set (Morakniv classic, break open 20ga, .22LR revolver, length of rope, oiled canvas, 2 tent poies, couple enamelware pots, 5" cast iron skillet, oil lantern, wool poncho, sombrero, snare kit, sack of beans, coffee, salt pork - you get the idea) to challenge myself to use older style gear in the field.My goal in doing this being to do away with modern amenities, challenge myself, and get a better idea of what living in the bush back in the day was like.This knife is the heart and soul of that setup. It's a very handsome, stately, even classy looking knife.The sheath is far from fancy, but it works, and the aesthetic fits with the rest of my gear as it hangs comfortbaly from my belt.I know it's a cliche about cowboys getting their knives so sharp that they can shave their own arm hair off but this knife did that for me straight out of the box from Amazon - they are VERY sharp as Moraknivs tend to be. Be careful with these because I've already had mine take a little bite out of me because I wasn't showing it the adequate respect a razor-sharp knife blade should be given.When it comes to what many knife enthusiasts call "balance" or "heft", the Mora Classic has that and then some. This is a tool that just feels good in your hand.Hopefully you'll never be put in a position where you need to defend yourself with this weapon - but in the unlikely event that scenario happened, this knife would have your back until the danger has passed.All and all I'm really impressed with it. I like the sheath, I like the steel, I like the company (Morakniv rocks) - and the price is crazy reasonable for how much knife you're getting. Buy it!

ORmai con Mora c'è quasi un rapporto d'amore, ne ho comprati diversi nel corso degli anni e li uso prevalentemente come coltelli per la scultura e l'intaglio, perdono difficilmente il filo ed è davvero facile rifarlo quando necessario.in questo caso ho scelto il N03 perchè volevo un coltello più grosso da poter portare nel bosco, ma sa usare anche per intagli ecc.affilato come un rasoio con il suo stile vintage rende tutto più romantico.Aggredisce il legno come un vero tarlo e la geometria consente una buona usabilità.dal mio punto di vista uno dei migliori mai avuti.

Handle has deep cut in too late to return for Christmas.The knife is excellent the stealth is just trash in my opinion it makes the knife seem cheap. Why would they use this material ?
