You can really tell this has been hand forged, which adds to the beauty and charm in my opinion, and there are no sharp edges on the handle at all it is very smooth and comfortable. The sheath is real leather, and also a really good quality. I am absolutely impressed by this little knife. It is very sharp and solid but it isn't heavy at all, it doesn't pull on your neck when you wear it and it's such a nice addition to have with you, especially if you don't have pockets all the time to have a pocket knife with you. It's handy to have a blade with you just in case. If you do need to use this as a defense weapon it may be a bit difficult with the way the handle curls around, but it is better than having nothing in a situation where you'd like to have at least something! I would absolutely buy more products from Toferner in the future after seeing the quality of this item. For the price I am so happy with what I have received. I have not put it through any 'strenuous' testing, but this piece seems like the highest quality and strength you could ask for in such a small piece. The little 'squirrel tail' on the end is such a cute touch too, and also a testament to the craftsmanship since that isn't always the easiest thing to do, especially so small and without any sharp edges. The only thing I could say about this product was that I wanted to put a decorative 'double coin knot' on there, and the square string really made it difficult and a bit wonky looking and I will probably replace it with a round one just for this reason, but that is completely my aesthetic choice and not anything to do with the quality of the product. Overall, 10/10 on looks and quality!!! Would absolutely recommend. I will be purchasing a larger blade from Toferner in the future because the quality seems outstanding and it seems like they have very talented bladesmiths making their products.

I bought this to wear around my neck while hiking for both personal protection & to have a knife handy for mundane tasks like slicing cheese. I've used it through a few seasons and I really like it. The blade has held its edge. It's a well-made, attractive blade. The sheath is a bit stiff, but I wear it over a shirt so it's not touching my skin.The leather thong that's included is not durable. I replaced it within a few days with a chain. But that's the only issue I've had with this product.On a side note, if you're going to use this for protection, be aware of how you'll need to hold the blade to avoid seriously injuring your hand.

J'ai ajouté ce petit couteau à ma ceinture portée lors de mes weekens de médiéval, et j'en suis ravie ! Il est super jolie, très discret par sa taille et bien utile ! Facile de couper un saucisson, sans planche entre deux représentations viking. Il est validé !

Ein kleines nützliches Messer, welches bei der geringen Größe vor allem beim Wandern gut mitgenommen werden kann. Es empfiehlt sich, die Schneide nochmals mit einem Wetzstahl leicht(!) nachzuschärfen.

Ein schönes kleines Instrument dass vor 2000 Jahren jeder bei sich hatte der was auf sich hielt. Ob zum Nägel putzen oder schneiden immer parat. Das ist natürlich nur was für Leute die sich ihre Nägel nicht maniküren lassen.

Messer und Lederhülle sind genau wie beschrieben. Robust, gut verarbeitet, praktisch und sehr dekorativ. Nun brauche ich nicht immer mein größeres Messer für den Grürtel mitzunehmen. . Bin sehr zufrieden.

Es war ein Geschenk. Sieht toll aus, hochwertig und der Versand war schnell. Allerdings färbt das Schwarz der Tasche ziemlich ab was aber nicht weiter stört.

Das kleine Messer ist eine positive Überraschung. Es ist sehr scharf und liegt selbst in einer großen Pranke wie der meinen sehr gut balanciert. Man hat die Klinge mit einem festeren Griff in der Hand als gedacht: Der Daumen liegt auf der Klinge, der Zeigefinger in der Schlaufe, der Mittelfinger stablisiert die "kleine Schlaufe", die eigentlich wie eine Deko am Abschluss der großen Schlaufe wirkt. Damit kann man einen guten Druck auf die Klinge ausüben und auch Fleisch oder Pflanzenteile schneiden. Wer Kaninchen oder Hasen aus der Decke schlagen möchte, wird begeistert sein: Die Klinge geht perfekt durch das Unterhautfettgewebe ohne Fleisch oder Decke zu verletzen. Ich finde diese Art von Handhabung und Klingenlänge bei der Zubereitung von Wild ERHEBLICH zweckmäßiger als bei einem klassischen Klapptaschenmesser oder einem normalen Küchenmesser. Man merkt einfach, dass dieses Messer eher ein ergonomisch geformtes Werkzeug als eine Waffe ist. Dennoch sieht es "historisch" und sehr attraktiv aus.Die Lederscheide ist solide und praktisch, ich trage ein Messer dieser Größe lieber um den Hals als dass es irgendwo an einem Gürtel baumelt.Man sollte die Klinge regelmäßig mit Ballistol-Öl pflegen, auch die Lederscheide wird von ein paar Tropfen profitieren.

L'articolo è arrivato nei tempi previsti, perfettamente confezionato e ben imballato. Si tratta di un piccolo coltello da collezione di ottima fattura, esteticamente molto valido, dotato di un bel fodero in cuoio, che potrebbe essere indossato quotidianamente al collo (peccato che la legislazione italiana non lo consenta) quasi come fosse una collana. Pur essendo di dimensioni ridotte è comunque robusto e ben affilato, a mio parere potrebbe essere utilizzato non solo come tagliacarte ma anche in outdoor per piccoli lavori. Non sono comunque in grado di interloquire oltre in merito ad un utilizzo pratico perchè si tratta di un oggetto acquistato esclusivamente per collezionismo.
