The auto levelling sensor that comes with this printer is flawed, it does not level accurately at all. The printer is pretty much impossible to print with. This is a known problem and the monoprice has not fixed it. Replacing the sensor does not work - I have tried, at my own expense. please don’t waste your money on this piece of garbage, you will regret it.

I really wanted to like this printer, I purchased in the amazon warehouse and when I got it was very well packaged, the instructions are well made but lack some information on the heated bed.The print bed is very good with a good texture to hold prints but cannot keep temperature due to a weak power supply. the z axis does not have any friction so will crash into the bed or your print when finished printing.also the probe is located in such a place as to knock the initial purge line. The build quality of this printer is excellent, but it lacks finish.I returned mine for a refund.

It's really quiet, a bit fiddly and I was disappointed with the wireless connectivity (2.4ghz only and requires an app that is no longer on the store - thankfully there's a 3rd party replacement). The way the chassis is made, you really need to pay attention to plugging in the sd card and usb - there's enough space to miss the port and shove the plug in between the chassis and the port itself, so watch for that if you're trying to do it at a weird angle.Other than that, test cat worked off the sd card supplied. Using Cura's default profile for the non-pro but otherwise same model worked great for me at both fine and draft settings. Printing TPE was a little trickier but that's a TPE thing not the printer's fault. All in all, I'd say just as good as the alternatives out there in the same price bracket, but a lot less hand-holdy than some. But you do get a heated print bed and something that can print an abundance of different materials for the same price as something that doesn't but holds your hand.Recommend looking at Designspark mechanical if you're thinking to build customised enclosures or otherwise hate the existing CAD programs out there!Update after more use: Recently had a little trouble with adhesion, so gave it a little clean with either white vinegar or acetone. Both do the trick but seem to make it harder for anything to stick the next time you print. Not solved this yet and getting some annoying warping on what should be flat prints. One design flaw to watch for: The magnets embedded in the hotbed and the housing it snaps into are capped by tiny circles of metal. These may seperate from the magnet in the hot bed but remain mangetically stuck to the supports - if they do this and are off-center your bed levelling is utterly messed up! Superglue fixes the problem but if you get the head grinding into the bed... check this!
