Had a few items from this brand now and I'm so pleased with this one. I've been struggling to find tools to help with my son's maths skills that are age appropriate but also go higher than the count of 20 (he has learning difficulties and requires extra help). With this set you get a lot of useful tools such as a 1-100 number board, counters, cubes, 2 soft dice, worksheets and wipe-clean cards with maths problems on that can be used with a dry marker (not supplied). The cubes are the linking sort which are unmarked so you can make up the values to whatever you want to help with various values in maths problems. The 1-100 board is great for number lines, adding, subtracting etc. and the worksheets are fantastic - I was really pleased that they were exactly the sort of level my son is currently working at and so are a fantastic additional resource.Really pleased with this set - combining it with others from the same brand, I've got quite a varied and incredibly useful set of resources now to help my son increase in confidence and ability. Really do recommend this.

Good quality resources. The pack includes a hundred square which is large enough to easily be seen by a small group or from a short distance away. It is a much better size than any you can print off yourself. It is made from card so more sturdy as well. Another resource in the pack are two ten frames that children are used to using at school nowadays. You can use this with the double sides card counters. The counters are sized around that of a ten pence coin which is a great size and made from a thick card. They are sturdy enough to be used as a manipulative for a 4/5 year old upwards. I thought they would be better made out of plastic when I first saw them but I much prefer that they are this strong card as it is better for the environment and actually less risky with younger children. The Unifix style cubes are very easy to build and separate so are very good quality. You get two separate colours of 10 pieces each. The pack also includes two larger than usual solid foam dice. The material is appealing in a sensory way and gives children a different experience in that respect as well. The dice have numerals and underline easily confused numbers like the number 9, so you know which way up it is. One die goes up to 6 and the other goes from 7-12. The numeral formation of number 4 is like that on a computer. It would have been nice (and better) to have the number formation the same as taught in schools. However, it is not essential as they do need to recognise different formations. All in all, I really like the set as I can use this to teach early maths to my 5 year old in lots of different ways but in a similar way as he will learn at school.

A lovely set to start your child on their maths journey. All the resources included encourage hands on activities to make maths fun and engaging. The included activity guide has lots of helpful ideas on how to use the set.I particularly like the double sided write and wipe cards and the ten frames which used along with the cubes and counters will help your child to understand their new maths skills in a fun, practical way.The 10 worksheets inc. are just printed in black and white on plain paper but are handy to use as masters for photocopying so you can use them again and again for growing families.A good set for young families wanting to learn and practise maths and build on what’s being learnt in early years at school.

Another great Learning Resources set.I like how there are always a few different activities suggested in each set.My 5 year old loved doing the activities in this set and I think they're perfect for the end of reception or for Year 1 children. The little tool to make the greater/less than or equal sign is especially good for practising activities around that area!
