I don't engage in any activities where I'm definitely in danger of getting wet but occasionally find myself in situations where I could get wet e.g. going out without a coat. So these bags will be very useful for protecting items such as my phone, money and documents. They really do a good job of keeping their contents dry.

These seem like pretty decent, well made pouches.I tried it out in a small local lake, to hold my keys. To be on the safe side, I inserted an empty toilet roll tube so that the pouch had plenty of air in it, and would therefore float, if for any reason it detached from my waist. All was fine, after about 40 minutes swimming across and around the lake. The toilet roll tube was perfectly dry, as were my keys. The belt is very adjustable, so should fit most people - it is also elasticated for comfort.

Not too keen on these bags as they are a real faff to use. They work by rolling up the inside to seal and waterproof them and this is not as easy as a zip and i found frustrating. The material is fairly thin and whilst sufficient for occasional use i feel wont last that long. The adjustment on the straps is a decent length but the straps cannot be removed and therefore are cumbersome and get in the way when putting in a bag.

I'm quite happy with this waterproof bag. What's got me excited about this is that I finally found a waterproof pouch that actually doesn't require me to remove my phones cover in order for it to fit in the pouch. And bonus is that, it fits both, mine and my husband's phones together whilst both are still in their covers. This is absolutely perfect for those horrendous wet rides at the theme parks. I'm looking at you StormForce (Drayton Manor) and Tidal Wave (Thorpe Park)!!!

These aren't bad at all. They are indeed waterproof. They kind of have two layers of waterproofing. The first is much like a decent quality zip-lock bag. You press the strips together and they form an airtight seal. The second form of waterproofing is very similar to a dry-bag where you roll down the top a few times and it is held down by a velcro strip. The only difference is that with a typical dry-bag you also bend the strip and clip each end into the other, but not with this. Tested here this evening though and it is genuinely waterproof. The material isn't as thick as a good quality dry-bag. It's not painfully thin or anything, just not terribly thick. For the intended purpose I think it's tough enough to withstand prolonged use.I was a bit disappointed to see that you can't remove the carry straps entirely without cutting them off. I would have liked to be able to just remove the webbing entirely, but it's sewn into a loop which would need to be cut off.Other than that minor negative point though I think these are fairly good.
