Great form factor: small, but with easy to use controls. I love the 'volume control.' Intuitive.The sound quality is superior to some other bluetooth headphones. Volume is nice and loud, if you want to go there.

So the Product was great.. together with my thieaudio Monarch mk2 IEM the Sound quality is nice (may not top shelf but for the size and price may the best value DAC you get)The Operation is quick, easy and intuitive.I like the 4 sound modes and the output seems to more than i need..but..Probably the internal USB charger has no Overload protection so the Akku bloated after not even a year also the 450mAh really hold the device back..i used it a few times on my PC instead of a gaming headset and i guess that is why the damage occurred that fast..have done the repair myself to solve the issues..with a 18650 holder (my Akkus have around 3400mAh)So no charging just change the Akku with the ones in my charger and run time is listed at 10h so now it would be 77h.. but i guess its only 60 and i never had the 10hAlso the overcharge is no problem anymore because you just can remove the Akku when used as DAC on a PCNow i love the thing but you will still just get two stars… 200€ and a defect that occurred that frequently on the Internet because of a design issue (well its a reason why it is that small)Not consumer friendly

I have owned this device for about a year now after previously owning other similar offerings from Fiio, iFi, and EarStudio. The first six months were spent paired with an iPhone and the second six months with a Samsung Z Flip 5 (more on that later).Fiio makes great sounding products but I wound up going with iFi again for this purchase for a few reasons: 1) There's a warmth to the sound from their devices that I always find myself coming back to, 2) they center their entire product design around a "no screen + analog controls" philosophy that on paper looks like a disadvantage compared to most competitors and their OLED displays but in reality it's a leg up (a screen means firmware is required and that means the device can brick) and 3) I find their X-Bass add-on to be a perfect feature for my own personal tastes.The bonus 4th item I would add to the above list after using this device for a while is perhaps it's unsung killer feature: unlike a lot of the "dongle with screens" everyone is throwing out there to get something out there in what is becoming a very hot product niche, iFi's Go Blu was clearly designed with a purpose in mind and that is to be the smallest, easiest to use, format agnostic and best sounding portable BLUETOOTH device out there. Yes, this will function over USB-C as a DAC and will sound great, but the bread and butter here is being able to work with any number of devices across any number of bluetooth codecs seamlessly. On this front I can say it succeeds in spades where all others have failed.I primarily use this between a desktop Windows machine with a Fiio BTR3 Pro bluetooth transmitter/receiver and my Samsung phone. It works with both flawlessly, but because of Apple's draconian insistence on using only their own proprietary bluetooth codec that prioritizes connection and latency over quality, you can't really flex the full specs of the Go Blu when paired with an iPhone unless you are connected to the phone as a dongle with a cable. Otherwise you're stuck at 16/44 in the SBC codec. Getting an Android phone that can match the GoBlu's 24/96 LDAC capabilities is where this really starts to shine. Pair it with high quality, lossless source material and only then do you realize just how high fidelity of a listening device this actually is.Thankfully, however, it is extremely forgiving on sources of lesser quality. It's not that 16/44 over SBC or even AptX sounds BAD, it's just that lossless at 24/96 over LDAC just sounds better in every way. I mainly listen using a pair of Fiio FD5's with their upgraded LC-RD Pro cable using the 4.4mm balanced plug. In all honesty even on direct A/B testing of the same song at the same time, I genuinely have a hard time hearing much of a difference between the 3.5mm unbalanced and 4.4mm balanced plugs featured on the GoBlu with regard to the Fiio earbuds.When using my Sennheiser HD660-S however, the story completely changes and the 4.4mm option adds a nice extra amount of sub-bass that is missing on the unbalanced option. And yes, it definitely has enough power to make those cans shine.Regardless of what I am listening with, I really love the X-Bass feature as it adds JUST enough bass to get a true sub-bass/woofer feeling with my FD5's and to add needed depth to the 660S's. It's usually the perfect amount of added bass when switching from listening to rock over to house music or hip hop. Never muddies things, either.Lastly, I will say that I absolutely love the volume knob iFi has come up with once I figured out the proper orientation to make it easy to use as it was intended: as a very precise, small-stepped way to increase the volume. It's great that this device always takes over the volume of whatever your BT source is and adds all the steps of precision as your primary volume control.I have spent a long, long time trying to piece together the ideal, portable, high quality listening setup for the way I listen to music today and I must say, I can't imagine anything else coming closer to checking basically every box as the GoBlu and Fiio FD5 pairing. Whether it's the Burr Brown circuitry or the insistence on bypassing any local Snapdragon on-chip Bluetooth and using their own internals even on low grade bluetooth codecs, there's just something about the iFi sound that is satisfying across the board for any type of music. It's also flawless in at the connecting/reconnecting game no matter how many devices you throw at it.There's a lot of great sounding options at this price point that you really can't go wrong with from purely a sound quality perspective. Where I think the iFi outshines all others is with its purposeful design toward doing one thing flawlessly and ensuring the longevity of the device by limiting exposure to firmware upgrades and the pitfalls of a screen-based device OS.Can't recommend this thing highly enough.

Vorweg, das Gerät wäre an sich super, ist sehr praktisch und klingt gut.Jetzt kommt allerdings der Haken: Das Gerät hat einen Akkudefekt.Nach knapp einem Jahr hat das Gerät angefangen sich in unregelmässigen Abständen von alleine auszuschalten. Der Akku dehnt sich aus und das Gehäuse ist deswegen der Seite aufgegangen. Hier scheint ein Defekt vorzuliegen.Da ich auch anscheinend nicht der einzige mit diesem Problem bin, würde ich vom Kauf abraten. Für 200€ erwartet man doch etwas mehr Langlebigkeit und solche Defekte sind ja auch nicht ganz ungefährlich.

I changed from a Audioquest dragonfly red. And i am so much more happy with the ifi go Blue. The sound is amazing. Like my headphone came to live. the bass is beautifull and for my musictaste excactly what i want.

N'ayant plus de port jack sur mon téléphone, et ne voulant pas changer mes écouteurs, j'ai dû me rabattre sur une solution alternative.Rien à redire sur la qualité audio ou la stabilité de la connexion bluetooth, cela fonctionne aussi avec un câble USB.Mon seul reproche est sur le gestion de la batterie, les 50 premiers pourcent descendent lentement, les 50 suivant beaucoup plus vite, même trop vite.Une fois arrivé à 20% il ya un signal sonore batterie faible, le temps de sortir le téléphone pour vérifier, 15%, 10min plus tard arrêt, batterie vide. Du coup je me fait régulièrement surprendre par cette gestion approximative et termine mon trajet en silence.

Ich habe mir diesen DAC für einen etwas unkonventionellen Einsatz gekauft. Ich verwende ihn in Kombination mit meinen Sennheiser Momentum 3. Wer nun denkt: das macht keinen Sinn… Jein. Mein Problem bei allen Bluetooth Kopfhörern: sie sind mir zu leise. Ich habe einige DAC s schon durch. Der IFI hat mit Abstand die beste Leistung, liefert ein super Klangbild und die Bluetoothverbindung ist stabil. Ich verbinde meine Sennheiser via Kabel mit dem IFI. Dieser verschwindet in jeder Hosen- Hemd- oder Jackentasche. Die Lautstärkeregelung über das Drehrad ist genial. Ich kann diesen DAC zu 100 % weiterempfehlen… natürlich auch für seinen eigentlichen Zweck: kabelgebundene Kopfhörer drahtlos zu nutzen. Leistung ist für die allermeisten Kopfhörer genügend vorhanden.

It's amazing how much battery life and power this little guy has. Compared to my Zen Dac V1 the sound quality is almost equal but has a little less detail overall and notable less impact in the low end. It's not nearly as bloaty and mushy as the hip dac V1, so that's great. Listen to it all day on the go, very satisfied.

Das Gerät ist sehr zu empfehlen. Musik hört sich gut an, und die Lautstärke Regelung durch den Drehknopf ist super. Außerdem hat es verschieden Modi, die z.B. den Bass boosten. Man kann diese einfach per Knopfdruck wechseln. Das ist ein nettes extra, da es auch unabhängig vom Equalizer der Quelle funktioniert.Einziges Manko ist das Grundrauschen. Es ist für mich mit empfindlichen IEMs deutlich hörbar. Sehr schade, ansonsten wäre der iFi GO blu perfekt

Ich übertreibe nicht wenn ich behaupte, dass diese kleine Teil mein Leben zum positiven verbessert hat.Seitdem der vollkommen sinnbefreite Trend des klinkenlosen Smartphones beinahe unumgänglich ist war ich auf der Suche nach einer zufriedenstellenden Lösung meines first world problems.Ich versuchte mehrere bluetooth und "true wireless" bluetooth in ears, die mich im Endeffekt alle kalt ließen und mich als möchtegern Audio-Enthusiast nicht wirklich langanhaltend begeistern konnten.Ursprünglich auf der Suche nach einem kleinen Stack oder Dac/Amp Kombo für mein Schlafzimmer um auch im Bett mit Kopfhörern wie Sennheiser 6XX, AGK 7XX, Beyerdynamics MMX300 zu hören, bin ich jedoch auf dieses kleine Teil gestoßen.Es kann die genannten Kopfhörer zufriedenstellend betreiben und ist für mich gerade in Kombination mit den Sennheiser IE 300 zum daily driver geworden.Ich verlasse das Haus seitdem nicht mehr ohne meinen GOblu und IE 300, diese Kombination harmoniert in meinen Ohren wirklich wundervoll.Seit kurzem habe ich das Kabel der Kopfhörer durch Tripowin Kabel erneuert, die leider mit einer Zange und etwas Fingerspitzengefühl modifiziert werden mussten, was die ganze Geschichte jedoch um einiges aufwertet. Aber auch manchmal liegt der GOblu in meiner linken Hosentasche und das Handy (Mi11 Pro9) in der rechten Hosentasche und es kommt regelmäßig zu kurzen Verbindungsabbrüchen, die sehr ärgerlich sind, gerade wenn man unterwegs ist oder auf dem Fahrrad sitzt und den Hörgenuss dann doch etwas trüben.

En primer lugar, por su pequeño tamaño, pero gracias a su diseño interior es sumamente potente y podrá mover audífonos de 300 Ohms, sino es que más.Su enfoque está en el Bluetooth, y en ese sentido es compatible con prácticamente todos los codecs. Yo lo he estado usando con LDAC con la opción de alta calidad de audio y vaya, le da una textura y riqueza a la música, ligeramente cálida y disfrutable. Además, tiene un par de opciones para modificar el audio resaltando el bajo, pero de una manera sutil y agradable, o ampliar la sensación de 3D.Este es mi segundo producto iFi y estoy muy contento. Me hubiera encantado que decodificara MQA, pero creo que no le hace falta, pero al conectarlo por USB a la computadora hubiera sido agradable tener esa opción.El firmware se puede actualizar por medio de una app y un celular, las instrucciones están en la página oficial de iFi. Pero vale la pena hacerlo, porque al menos al momento de escribir esto, ya se puede habilitar un modo de filtro de paso bajo.Otra cosa importante para mí es que tiene un micrófono, algo que he terminado usando bastante, porque mayormente lo he usado con unos AKG K553 MKII que no tienen micro en el cable, y con este DAC ya puedo hacer y recibir llamadas sin tener que quitarme los audífonos, usando el mic del iFi Go Blu ;)
