I had to grind it a little to get it on, but maybe if I had tightened the bolts in a different order, that wouldn't have been necessary. In any case, it is on, muffles the noise, and hasn't come loose.

Just one major problem with muffler. You cant mount it due to the screw pattern not lining up due to the muffler not fitting. You have to modify it to use it.Grind away lower mounting hole flange. Nice...

Would not fit the machine it was ordered for. Had to file down flanges on the part for bolts to attach to the engine. Very time consuming

I was pleased with this product which included a pro active note from the seller about handling any potential issues with the product. The muffler fit perfectly and the trimmer fired up and ran like new.
