I got this step stool primarily for my wife to help her reach the pans on the top kitchen cupboard, and it's turned out to be incredibly useful. The stool is lightweight, easy to fold, and stores away neatly without taking up much space, which is a big plus in our compact kitchen. It’s really simple to unfold with the carry handle, and it feels solid when in use – I have no concerns about its stability, even though it claims to support up to 150 kg.What I love about it is how versatile it is – we use it in the kitchen, but it would work great in the bathroom or garage too. The non-slip rubber feet provide extra safety, and despite being made of plastic, it feels sturdy enough for daily tasks. Plus, the black design with white dots is a nice touch, adding a bit of style while remaining practical.For the price, I think it's excellent value. It's not the tallest step stool, but it’s perfect for reaching those slightly higher spots without being too bulky. This is a review of HEIMWOHL branded 9 Inch Durable Folding Step Stool and was priced at £9.97 at the time of this review.Although at 6 foot tall I can touch the ceiling in the kitchen without stretching, I still need help getting items off the top shelf of our tall wall cupboards.I like that this step folds up flat for storage just by lifting the carry handle and is so easy to open when needed. Storage is easy as it’s small it doesn’t need much room to hide away when not being used.The step is made from a hard and sturdy feeling plastic type material. It would also be useful as a stool for a younger child. Knowing that it will support 150Kg, which is a lot more than I weigh, gives that sense of safety when using it, it certainly feels secure. I like the black colour with white dots on the top as it looks stylish as well as being practical.This is a nice foldable step that will come in handy for so many jobs around the house, and being made from plastic, it doesn’t matter about getting it wet, whether using it in the garden or as a shower stool.

This is a foldable stool in black color. Made of plastic but looks sturdy and strong. Altough being 6' 1" tall I still need to reach the top of the cabinet and this stool helped me a lot these days. I am 90 kg and can confirm had no issues with its strength as well. When folded it occupies a little space and I place it inside the cabinet. Overall loved it.Note that this is a Vine review for the item sent for free to review. This little folding step stool from Heimwohl. It's nothing fancy, just a basic, black plastic stool that folds flat for storage. It's pretty lightweight, under three pounds I think, and has a little handle so you can easily carry it around. I got the 9 inch one, and honestly, it's probably better suited for kids. I mean, it gives you a bit of a boost, but for adults, it's not a huge difference.I tested it out and it felt pretty solid for my frame (14st 9lbs @ 6’). The splayed legs have these little anti-slip pads, which I felt were quite small, but at least something to help the stool from skidding out under me. It folds out easily enough; you just flip open the handle, and it locks into place. Folding it back up is just as simple. It's handy because it doesn't take up much space when it's folded, you can just tuck it away beside a washbasin or against a wall.It can hold up to 300kg, which is quite a lot, so it feels secure enough, even for an adult. It’s definitely handy for kids who need a little help reaching a sink, basin or a countertop. For some adults it’ll be useful for those slightly out-of-reach items in the kitchen, but since it's only 9 inches, it didn't make a massive difference to me. If you have growing, young kids, this might be worth considering, but I think I would prefer something that isn’t a big hunk of plastic, but even so, a taller, wooden version of this would definitely be of interest to me.
