The DRV8825 stepper motor driver carrier is a breakout board for TI’s DRV8825 microstepping bipolar stepper motor driver. The module has a pinout and interface that are nearly identical to those of our A4988 stepper motor driver board, so it can be used as a higher-performance drop-in replacement for those boards in many applications. The DRV8825 features adjustable current limiting, overcurrent and overtemperature protection, and six microstep resolutions (down to 1/32-step). It operates from 8.2 – 45 V and can deliver up to approximately 1.5 A per phase without a heat sink or forced air flow (rated for up to 2.2 A per coil with sufficient additional cooling).

Adjustable current control lets you set the maximum current output with a potentiometer, which lets you use voltages above your stepper motor’s rated voltage to achieve higher step rates

Built-in regulator (no external logic voltage supply needed)
Can interface directly with 3.3 V and 5 V systems
Over-temperature thermal shutdown, over-current shutdown, and under-voltage lockout
Short-to-ground and shorted-load protection
4-layer, 2 oz copper PCB for improved heat dissipation
Exposed solderable ground pad below the driver IC on the bottom of the PCB
Module size, pinout, and interface match those of our A4988 stepper motor driver carriers in most respects (see the bottom of this page for more information)

Mise en oeuvre simple, paramétrage VRef sans diffculté, que dire d'autre ? Je n'ai pour l'instant pas remarqué s'ils chauffaient beaucoup ou pas, à voir dans le temps. ;)

Im Vergleich sind die Treiber zwar sehr günstig, sie bringen aber ordentlich Leistung. Sie sind definitiv nicht leise, und warm werden Sie auch ordentlich. Aber für kleinere Projekte oder Einzelanwendungen, oder Anwendungen wo auch schon Mal was kaputt gehen darf, sind sie perfekt. Die Qualität ist ok, die Verarbeitung auch. Den Treiber liegt ein kleiner Kühlkörper bei, der sollte definitiv auch genutzt werden.Man sollte darauf achten, dass alles korrekt angeschlossen ist ( auch die Motoren ), ansonsten gibt's Magic smoke.Zum basteln würde ich sie Treiber jederzeit empfehlen, sie decken alles ab was man braucht.

The Modules generally do what i expected, they can drive the stepper motors at high currents, and even limit the current. all Pins do what they are supposed to. My only 2 issues are that the IC Descriptions have been scraped off which is quite suspicious so these might be fake, considering the drv8825 IC is about 5€ on most big retailers it would make sense, else selling these at 15€ wouldnt make sense, but i dont blame that since im a cheap buyer at the end aswell, aslong as the ICs do what they are advertised to do. Also one of the modules did not seem to work at all which is quite sad, it took me a lot of time to troubleshoot just for it to be a broken module. I can recommend these with caution.

Habe die Treiber für ein CNC-Shield gebraucht.Leider habe ich den Satz schon zum 2. Mal bestellen müssen, da mir die Treiber sehr schnell kaputt gehen.Wahrscheinlich liegt es an mir. Ansonsten funktionieren die super
