Es tut mir leid sagen zu müssen das der Adapter schlichtweg unbrauchbar ist. Der kameraseitiger Anschuss ist eine Schlackerpassung. Der kameraseitige Anschluss ist um wenige Grade nach links verdreht.

I have been looking at this for nearly a year. I thought it was plastic, I didn't know what difference using another lens would make. For £15 I thought i'd give it a go as the Canon native EF-M 22mm is very expensive. The husband has old SLR cameras and FD lenses including a 50mm f1.8. This adaptor is a very nicely made and lightweight metal. One review suggested checking out youtube for a 'how to fit' tutorial which I did and would recommend. It's easy once you know how. The other stuff you need to know, (unless you are a seasoned photographer and know this stuff; I didn't), is somewhere in your camera settings you will need to enable 'release shutter without lens'. Old lenses are MANUAL, there are no electrical contacts so your camera doesn't know there is a lens on it. Also, because there is no communication with your camera body you will not have any auto functions. I gasped at this however.....The shutter will not release in AUTO mode. It must be on MANUAL or a SEMI MANUAL mode such as Av,Tp,. The semi manual modes aren't overly helpful as no compensation will be made as no communication...remember? Also there is no autofocus. Set your camera to 'FOCUS PEAKING' to show you when you are in focus. As a result of using this for less than a week on manual mode I have a much better understanding and confidence in the exposure triangle. As I manually open and close the aperture I am forced to adjust shutter speed and/or ISO sensitivity...and it's not as terrifying or disastrous as I thought it would be. This is improving my understanding of photographyand forcing me to check those numbers that I've been ignoring/not registering before. The examples aren't great, (I have the DOF too shallow in some), but hope to show how that larger aperture affects Depthof Field; (blurry background), when you want any subject to pop out from the background. All photos were on manual setting, manual focus, (you can easily toggle between manual and auto focus on your modern camera), and I just had to adjust the shutter speed and/or ISO to prevent overexposure. I highly recommend for photography. Any selfie work could be a nightmare due to NO AUTOFOCUS.

If there was a lead in front or behind, it could be better. It fits with canon FD lenses to EOS-M mount, don't forget to change the "shutter release w/o lense" setting to take photos.

Adapter fit my lens just fine. Accidentally bought the wrong adapter for my t3i but I'm sure this would work fine on the proper body.

I bought a canon eos-m camera for 100 bucks and was looking to use older canon fd lenses on it. These lenses can be found very cheap, sometimes free. Because this camera was just a toy to use the magic lantern hack on I didn't want to invest serious money on it. There are several fd to eos-m adapters but the fotga was the least expensive and it did not place any optical element between the lens and sensor. The fotga adapter is all aluminum, surprisingly well made. When placed on the lens it mates well, no slop. When initially mated to the camera and seated there is nothing but slop. Until you twist the ring on the adapter, that tightens it up. There is still a little bit of slop but not anymore than on other cameras. Not a problem at all. I am using an old canon fd 35-105mm ( a heavy lens) and it works fine. The only complaint I have is that the tightening sleeve can loosen a bit, so I always snug it up. Would be nice to have a locking mechanism for it.Over all I am very happy with it. Will continue to use it with the fd lens.
