Why they still try to sell this is mind boggling.It does not work ‼️Bought another called Monster which is suppose to be much better....also useless and bloody Noisy ‼️😩

Schade ist, dass zwar für Fotos der einmalige Autofokus klappt. Bei Videos ist hingegen kein mitlaufenden Autofokus möglich. Sonst kann man mit diesen Adapter die minimalie Fokusdistanz ordentlich reduzieren und damit vielleicht auch auf den Kauf eines Makros verzichten. Man verliert Licht und natürlich sind die Objektive nicht dazu gebaut und trotzdem sind die Ergebnis aus meiner Sicht gut.

Back story: I don’t have a field monitor yet, so I rely on the screen on my gh5.So, on my first day of shooting some skate footage with my canon 8-15mm fisheye, the guys I was with were killing it! Everything was going so good, we were all so hyped when watching the footage back on the camera. So I get home and put the SD card in my MacBook, excited to watch my footage on a bigger screen and to my shock and horror, ALL THE FOOTAGE WAS BLURY. I couldn’t understand what could’ve possibly went wrong. Was it my new canon fisheye? Was it the Viltrox speedbooster? Was it my gh5? Well, after looking online to see if anyone has had similar experiences with infinity focus, I found a few videos explaining my exact problem. It turns out that the glass element in the Viltrox speedbooster is adjustable and that you have to turn in clockwise or counter clockwise to adjust the distance between the cameras sensor and the glass element in the speedbooster. In my case it was clockwise. After doing this a few times and fine tuning it, I can finally set my focus to infinity and get a sharp image. I still have to tell the guys that their footage looks like it was shot through a dirty beer mug, but at least next time will be better. So to anyone reading this, CHECK YOUR FOOTAGE ON A COMPUTER BEFORE TAKING IT OUT TO FILM ANYTHING WORTH A DAMN.By the way, the Viltrox EF-M2 ii is well built and does what it claims. I would recommend it to anyone thinking about purchasing one.

I ordered new and they sent me an open used. Wouldn't communicate with the Z9. No instructions for firmware upgrade. Got firmware from their site. Connected adapter to computer. Dragged and dropped firmware to upgrade. Wouldn't focus in AF-C and just hunted back and forth. Sent it back. Fringer EF-NZ from BH Photo works but its expensive.

Hab vor einiger Zeit den Adapter von Maike gekauft und war an sich auch sehr zufrieden damit, einziges Manko an meiner M3 war das Tamron 18-200mm sehr langsam. Da ich gerade die M3 gekauft habe um im Urlaub so wenig wie Möglich mitzuhaben und auch nur das 18-200mm mitnehmen wollte hat es mich schon stark gestört. Daher nun der wechsel zum VILTROX -Adapter.Insgesamt scheint das Tamron mit diesem Adapter minimal schneller und präziser zu sein zwar kein Vergleich zu dem Tempo an einer DSLR aber zumindestens kann man damit arbeiten. Ich bin soweit zufrieden ob der Speed-Booster oder das Original von Canon noch besser wären, weiß ich nicht aber für meine Zwecke reicht es aus.Hab auch verschiedene andere Objektive getestet 50mm 1.4, Sigma 10-20mm, 85mm 1.8, Tamron 18-55 etc.. und alle haben sehr gute Geschwindigkeit, lediglich das Tamron 18-200mm scheint etwas Probleme zu machen.

I use with BMPCC 4k / Lens 18-135 IS EFS. works great. Fits perfect, no wobbling.I removed the plastic thing from my lens and the lens fits great. When zoom is minimum - there is a vignette effect, but it is not a EF lens. Use zoom to avoid vignette.If focus is blur, take adapter and rotate the lens until the focus will be sharp.Thank you for the high quality adapter. Saved my time, money and I do not have to buy additional lens for now.
