... nach Entpacken dieses Geschenkes zu Weihnachten. Es war ein ausgesprochener Wunsch meiner Tochter, der das Fest herzlicher machte.Zur Erklärung: Die Bücher meiner Tochter, es sind viele, beherbergen an den Ränder, und wo sonst noch Platz zu finden ist, Notizen aus den Seiten davor oder auch danach. Irgendwann, es könnte nicht mehr lang dauern, schreib sie Bücher um und liest diese dann noch einmal. Ich freue mich sehr über diese Entwicklung!Mehr kann ich leider nicht dazu sagen.Gruß!

I'm a little nervous about Phoebe Waller-Bridge co-starring in the new Indiana Jones movie. I hope this comedic genius isn't going to sell out for fame and fortune, but we'll always have Fleabag, clearly the best comedy series of the last decade. The proof is in this incredible collection of scripts from the 12 episodes spanning both seasons. Fleabag is reminiscent of that other classic British comedy Fawlty Towers--two seasons and they were done. The comedy, the pathos, are all in fine display here. The writing sings and soars and never disappoints.One minor quibble--the Amazon listing promised script "notes" from PWB. In truth, those notes turn out to be a short epilogue sharing the evolution of Fleabag and thanking people who helped along the way. Was hoping for more insight into the writing process. But it is a minor reservation.All hail Fleabag!

I happened upon Fleabag, the series, I suspect like everybody else. I’d become obsessed with the first series of Killing Eve (on which Phoebe Waller-Bridge was show-runner) and when I recognised her name and saw a trailer for Fleabag, I loved her reactions to camera right off the bat.In Fleabag: The Scriptures, we find the full scripts for both seasons, including opening shots, looks to camera, and those gloriously heartbreaking flashbacks with best friend, Boo. I loved the development of the relationships between Fleabag, her sister, Claire, and stepmother, Godmother.I highlighted so many scenes in this kindle edition, but the line that stopped my heart when I first heard it, and practically choked me from the page, was this one from series two, episode two, where Fleabag is talking to the counsellor her father has got her a voucher for as a birthday present.(Fleabag is, of course, played by Phoebe Waller-Bridge, the Counsellor is played by Fiona Shaw. Brace yourselves.)FLEABAGCan you just tell me what to do?COUNSELLORYou know.(beat)You already know what you’re going to do. PWB is brilliant and this collection is a perfect partner to the series itself. A pure masterclass in scriptwriting and storytelling.Plus it’s just wildly entertaining and oh so much fun when it’s not making you burst into tears with emotion.Highly recommend.

I bought it as a gift and I was worried that it might arrive damaged like in some other reviews. But luckily it was in perfect condition. I recommend to any Fleabag and Phoebe Waller-Bridge fan.
