Mi e' arrivato 2 giorni prima....grazie al venditore.Suono ricco e coinvolgente pieno di dettagli ed analitico insieme.Non sono d'accorco con alcuni che lo definiscono quasi freddino io ho altri 3 DAc di qualita',uno e' il famoso SMSL EF400 che costa piu' o meno lo stesso e devo dire dire che questo e' piu aperto come immagine sonora e sembra anche piu' definito.Per quanto riguarda la potenza in uscita testato con una DENON quella base da 560 euro circa.....non mi e' sembrato un mostro ...diciamo che per pesare meno di un CD60 MARANTZ che ha un uscita superba con ogni impedenza.....questo ...provato a mid e max power output si e' rivelato piu' che sufficiente tante' che l'ho settato a MID.In conclusione sono molto soddisfatto dell'acquisto e della qualita' una pecca che rode e' la mancanza di un telecomando e cosi' vi dovrete alzare spesso per il volume ...cio' nel 2024 mi sembra una scelta poco pratica e che stride con l'apparecchio che e' ottimo.

Was hat es eigentlich hier bei Amazon mit der Preisgestaltung auf sich, der Verkäufer soll ja angeblich Amazon sein?Das Gerät kostet in der normalen Ausführung im FiiO Store 399€ und die AKM Variante des K9 kostet 499€.Nichts desto trotz ist der K9 bzw. der K9 AKM ein sehr guter Kopfhörer Verstärker mit einem guten Preis- Leistung Verhältnis.

I was reading a lot of reviews and people kept suggesting FiiO as Value For Money. I am coming from a "cheap" SoundBlaster X5, which supposedly is at the same class, but lot cheaper.I had both installed on the same output, using them as DAC with two pair of AKG headphones, K7XX and K550, so I could compare the sound between them.First thing you notice, is the K9 needed to turn the knob way beyond 50%, to get decent power, and I had to switch to High Gain to balance that (although both pairs are low/mid gain).Second, the sound range was smaller, I was missing sound with K9 that I could hear with X5. I even ran sound test with frequencies, not just music, or video.Last, but not least, I contacted support and although they answered quite fast, they did not pay attention to my questions. I felt like they had a text to copy/paste as troubleshooting guide, and after that, not a clue. And their iOS application had some Chinese parts, probably forgot to translate them.Personally I was disappointed, since many people suggested FiiO for multiple products, and based on their price range I would expect much more.

Kopfhörer Amp mit sehr guter Verarbeitung und erstklassigen Klang. Vor einigen Jahren hätte man dafür noch viel mehr bezahlt. Passt perfekt zB zum Hifiman Ananda oder Beyerdynamic DT 1990 Pro. Der Klang überzeugt durch Wärme, Klarheit, Auflösung und einer sehr guten Bühnendarstellung. Außerdem ist der K9 in der Lage bei Bedarf einen tiefen pechschwarzen Bass zu erzeugen ohne diesen vordergründig werden zu lassen. So muss das sein.Empfehlenswert für Musikliebhaber mit audiophilen Anspruch.FiiO hat hier einen klasse Job gemacht. Danke FiiO....

Really surprised coming from a fiio k5 pro ess.. Thr difference is embarrassing.. Resolution.. Body.. Detail.. Separation.. When you crank the volume on k5 only increase the loudness not the quality of music... With hifiman sundara on high gain usually at 12 o clock ia loud enought.. With fiio k9 the sundara are alive again and i can t be more happy enjoyng now a completely better sound experience... Fully raccomended.. your headphones are going to be alive

First of all, the packaging was excellent. 2 boxes protecting the main box. Excellent!Unboxing was easy. Make sure the voltage select is correct for your region of operation. Mine was correct.Connect my gear. A TEAC A-7300 reel to reel. My Tascam DR-100 mk.3 SD recorder. SMSL SU-8n coming in on the balanced input. Note the balanced input takes priority over the unbalanced RCA inputs.My Samsung tablet and iPhone 12 Pro Max are my Bluetooth devices. Paired perfectly and no fuss at all. The FIIO control app is on both devices though my android Samsung Tablet was not functioning correctly with it. Looking further into that.The build is great. Heavy chunky aluminum that weighs more than my Schiit Asgard 3, and the Schiit Modius put together.Inputs. USB type B, Coaxial Digital, TOSLINK Optical, RCA and Penticonn Balanced input. Outputs. The RGB volume ring light is a nice status light. Take it or leave it. Easy to understand too.I used all 6 rubber feet and keeps the K9 planted without scratching anything.Sound with my Tascam DR-100 mk. 3 from the analog input is excellent. Punchy and dynamic. My Focal Elegia Headphones connected via the 4 pin balanced and the sensitivity on medium. I never found I wanted more power. Plenty here. My Hifiman Sundara does well too. Even my work project Beyer Dynamic DT-770 do just fine.The richness reminds me the best of good MOSFETs. Never etched or gritty. I listen all day and ear burn is not happening. Still breaking in, the bass is well fleshed out and good extension without the boom. Midrange is rich and well textured. Highs never harsh or pushy. For me the enjoyable listen in a long time. I have the Topping a30pro, and the FIIO K5, and Schiit Asgard 3, and really am doing best with the K9, next is the a30pro for its clean detailed sound albeit less involving as the K9. The K5 is like the K9 but just really incomplete vs. the K9 but is great as my everyday driver for work stuff. The Asgard 3 is my power house. Big grand sound but kind of pushy too, and for me rather fatiguing in long listens. Remember everyone is different and source and music and headphones and sources will vary.I must say the more I use the K9 the more I am glad I bought this. The analog inputs are a grand draw too. Most of the DAC combinations did not have analog inputs. So I can keep it all simple without another preamplifier and so on. I may get the Schiit SYS to allow switching of my 2 sources the TEAC and Tascam. We’ll see.Things I don’t like about the K9. Other than the really small script for operation, really nothing else. It is a well built good sounding DAC Headphone and even Preamplifier if called into drive external powered monitors or a power amplifier.I think for $499.00. I did well. I may get the SMSL SU-10 as my statement DAC. Not sure about that. This one is doing well, I am in no hurry.As a one stop shop for many, this K9 is just fine. Not sure if the Pro would have got me more. I just didn’t want to pay that price for it, along with MQA tax. I already have that covered if that matters at all.I would have loved to try the AKM version too. But I am happy with what this K9 is doing. Gets a recommendation from me.
