Ein super Artikel um Saugschläuche zu verlängern. Ich habe meine Absaugung optimiert. Erst 50er Schlauch, dann 50er Rohr, 50er Schlauch und zum Schluss 27er Schlauch. So kann Saugkraft-Verlust reduziert werden.Mit diesem Artikel werden Schläuche aneinander gekoppelt.

To those who feel this is "just a piece of plastic," please do your homework and read the Festool FAQ on their website. It's plastic alright - it's high-carbon plastic. In fact, there's so much carbon in it that it actually conducts a static charge. Huh. Maybe that's why "Anti-Static" is in the name?! Sure, you could get something at a Big Box store for $0.69 -- you could even use duct tape and a toilet paper roll for FREE -- but it won't be anti-static, and won't fit perfectly.Folks, this is Festool. You accepted the high prices when you bought the tool. So man-up and accept the consequences. Are Festool products worth 3-4X more than anything else? Of course not. Are they worth twice their nearest competitor? In most cases, yeah, they actually are, and that's why you drank the green Kool-Aid in the first place. So you could get the job done, and done right, the first time, and faster too.This connector item perfectly connects 2 hoses by the "fat ends" (the ends that go into the dust extractor). So if you want to make an extra-long hose like I did, you'll also need adapter #452892 for 27mm hoses, or adapter #452894 for 36mm hoses to do so. Essentially, one hose will have a "fat" end on both ends, one of which is plugged into the dust extractor, the other has the connector on it. The "regular" hose connects to your tool on one end, and the connector on the other, and you've got a very long hose indeed.

This hose connector works just as expected. I just can't "like it" or "love it" because it's an overpriced piece of plastic that costs less than $1 to manufacture. "It's OK" is accurate. Comes in a basic plastic bag that costs pennies. Overcharging for items that are useful- just because you can- is wrong. I paid it so that I could have a continuous line of anti-static hose while connecting two 2.5" (50mm) hose ends. I do question my sanity.

Dear Festool, thanks for continuing to screw me out of my hard earned money. I love spending ten times what an item is worth. That's why I love Festool. They really care about their customers.
