Had an problem optainng the the required software , support got beck to be fairly quickly (next day as they are located overseas. Turns out it was an issue with my location and ISP, went over a friends house and was able to down load the software required to configure the SH8050L Module. Tip: I found that setting the channel to 65 and then click on 'set parameters' will set the LoRa TX frequency to 915.125MHz (US band). I saw the change after clicking on 'get parameters', this displayed the updated changes. Unfortunately the frequency/ channel chart is not listed in the support documentation so hopefully this is helpful to those in the US. I actually like the product, not sure if there is a way to access the parameters though AT commands, unfortunately support was unable to provide that information. Searching on I found 'AT' commands for the eByte version of this device, which after taking a peek inside it appears to have a eByte transceiver module on the board. Are they the same? I am unsure as I do not own a eByte version of this kit. I was unsuccessful at getting the device to go into AT command mode. Hopefully if come one out there knows if there is a way to edit / change parameters though the use of 'AT' or other command sets, it would be great if they share this intel. That would be greatly appreciated.

We needed to span a few hundred feet (a hundred yards or so) at 4800 baud with intermittent data via RS-232 and this did just as it was supposed to: Data in one (of the two) identically-configured radios appears at the other and vice-versa, without cables.This unit includes the antenna and a coaxial power to USB cable so it was just run from the USB port at each end, but it can take 5-28 volts or so.The default frequency is probably not legal in the U.S. so it was moved to the 915 MHz ISM band using the software that you had to find on the manufacturer's web site.
