In a nutshell:Things I liked:+ The unit works effectively. I experienced no issues with communication between the call buttons and the siren, and the alarm is particularly loud.+ It's pretty straightforward to install. The lack of wiring and the fact that it's all wireless makes installation much simpler than it would be if you were installing a wired unit. I have no idea as to whether or not someone could feasibly intercept the wireless signal but you might want to consider this for particularly sensitive applications.Things I didn't like:- The unit works well, but it doesn't feel like a premium product. I think most of the price is going on the functionality rather than the quality of the casing.Do I recommend it?Yes. I think around £45 (the cost after the voucher is applied) seems about right for this. It works well and is effective.

Lots of accessories in the box and comes with everything you would need, seems quite flimsy and not very tough but we shall see. Not sure on whether it is worth including mounting bracket as will need to be taken down to charge when needed. So would need to be put somewhere accessible

A small card in the box tells you this alarm system is ready to work with no further configuration, although you will have to look in the very clear and brief manual to work out which button to press to turn on the siren. Of the other two buttons, one alters the volume of the siren, and the other is used when registering extra pagers and sirens.The two pagers in this kit are also ready to go straight from the box. There is no on-off switch nor a facility for replacing a pager battery.A small gotcha is there are three rechargeable batteries in the siren, If you are going to use the batteries rather than power directly from the included USB charger you must remove a small piece of insulating cardboard between one battery and its contact.The listing is rather inclusive about how you might employ this system, but it would seem to have two major uses. One could be in a work situation where you might need to warn colleagues of an unwanted event, say a hazardous spillage or unescorted visitors (I mean intruders). The other would be in somewhere like a care home when it could be used by residents and staff alike to indicate something requiring immediate intervention.I was at first a little sceptical but on reflection see a very useful adjunct, so long as all users are briefed on what the siren means and what to do about it as well, critically, when to use it.As far as I can tell neither the siren nor the pagers are weather proof This is an indoor system for people to sound immediate alerts.
