This kit has a great collection of components for the electronics hobbyist. The only thing that would make the kit better is a larger plastic box.

Deze elektronica startersset was goed gevuld en geeft daardoor een ietwat slordige indruk. Ik mis wel een gebruiksaanwijzing of handleiding vooral omdat het voor beginners bedoeld is, maar aan onderdelen zeker geen gebrek. Al bij al tevreden.

I read other reviews about the the downstepper converter chips failing and so I checked this immediately. For 5 minutes they both delivered the necessary 5 and 3.3 volts... for 5 minutes. After which the 1117 5.0 chip failed and fed the full 12v power through. This lack of failsafe is a design flaw in the 1117 chip and not directly the fault of the design of the PSU board. Nevertheless it did fail. The 3.3 volt converter continues to work, so I don't think it is a case of input overvoltage (my input supply is 12.1 v). They must have a bad batch of 5 volt converter chips and are still shipping them anyway.I bought this package specifically for the breadboard mounted PSU module - so disappointed about this failure.Also I would have expected some sort documentation about the power module. (an A5 sheet or an on-line technical description). Like, what is with the USB port. Is it an input or an output? Is it switched with the Power switch? Good job I didn't try to charge a phone when the 5Volt supply jumped to 12.The rest of the package contains the promised components - nothing seems to be missing. The Resistor bundles are well labelled. Contains 2 NPN transistors. I would suggest that 2 PNP devices would be a useful addition.Finally I would point out that the pictured Resistor colour code sheet is not included - but I can print that out myself and glue it to the case.No complaints about the Breadboard. The price is very low for a pack of assorted electronic devices in a box and so I still gave it 4 stars for that reason mostly. If the issues above don't bother you and you don't need reliable power converters but a useful plastic box of parts and a breadboard, then it is certainly value for money.

Schnelle LieferungGute Beschreibung der Inhalt.

Die in der Box befindlichen Kabel und das Board sind gut und neuwertig. Der beiliegende Downstepper war sehr schlecht verlötet und konnte nicht auf das Board gesteckt werden. Erst wenn man die Steckkontakte ab und wieder auf gelötet hatte, konnte man dieses Komponente in Betrieb nehmen. Somit zwei Punkte Abzug.

Mehr gibt es nicht zu sagen, umfangreiches Set an unterschiedlichen Bauteilen.Nutze das Board zum meinen LED-Strip zu verkabeln und mit Strom zu versorgen. Hätte vielleicht auch ein kleineres Steckboard getan, aber für den Kick-Off war das Set einfach die bessere Wahl!
