I bought this because my new stove has a handle that doesn't allow hanging a terry cloth hand towel over it. So had to figure out something else. I bought this to attach to the side of the refrigerator. Although it doesn't look like it has much of a grip, it really is very strong! I like the design, which doesn't show much when a towel is hanging on it.

I purchased this item for my dishwasher because I got tired of seeing towels drying on my oven door. It is perfect, I love it! The magnets are really strong. No one sees it on my dishwasher and it matches my black appliances.
