As soon as I saw this mug I was so excited to check it out! I love going climbing at my local gym and seeing a climbing-themed mug was the perfect addition to my collection of odd coffee mugs that I've assembled over the years.And it's not just a fun novelty; it's probably one of my favorite mugs now. The material is a nice heavy ceramic that feels good in my hands and keeps my tea nice and hot while I sip it, and the little pinch hold on the side is perfect to hold onto while I'm drinking.It's dishwasher and microwave safe, and it held up well the times I've tested it, although I normally wash all my mugs by hand to protect the finish on them. It holds 300mL, which is a decent amount of coffee or tea for me, and it's pretty sturdy on the table. I never worry about it tipping over or chipping when I bump into it.Honestly, this is such a cute, fun gift for any climber. I'll probably end up buying a few for my climbing buddies when the holidays roll around. Fun and functional.

It looks and feels even better than I could imagine. Very sturdy, and the yellow crimp is fairly grippy.

This is such a cool mug that speaks for itself that I don't have much to write. The quality is there, it has a smooth surface finish while still maintaining that rugged climber-ly feel. The "hand-hold" is legit, not some fake impression but actually has that rough, grippy texture of in-gym climbing holds. It even comes in a nice box making it easy for presenting as a gift.I want to point out a small issue, though it's not enough to change my rating. The hand-hold is attached with a small gap between it and the mug wall. I don't know if this is a mismatch on the two curves that is common on all of their mugs or just a one-off miss. I am worried about water build up getting in the gap that can't be dried out fully. However, functionally, it holds up and doesn't seem to be likely to ever come off. Whatever attachment method they've used, it's as close to permanent as you can get. Microwave and dishwasher safe - I have confirmed in the microwave, but I don't use a dishwasher. All around a fantastic and unique addition to my growing mug collection.

This is definitely the most unique coffee mug I've ever owned! No one else at the coffee bar at work will have one like it!It looks like it would be difficult to hold onto, but it's surprisingly easy. You don't have to tell anyone else that, though! Tell them that it's for strengthening your fingers for rock climbing!I'm not a rock climber. I just like unique coffee mugs. And this is one of the more unique mugs I've seen. IT's also a good coffee mug!5 stars for an imaginative modification to a standard coffee mug!
