The Screw terminal can be screwed directly to the terminal on the thread and is reliable and convenient. It can be plugged into the Arduino controller. You can use this shield to save yourself from the bad port connection. Feel secure with this arduino-compatible screw shield.
Both sides of the shield are broken out to the side of the Arduino, to allow access to everything on the main Arduino board. Stacking headers are also included so you can pile more shields on top.

Great addition to my Arduino Uno R4. Easy to connect wires in an automotive situation. The only problem was connecting the real time clock battery. I had to bend the pins on the arduino to fit it.

not so great ,both my sides of the shield i received were the same one ,so no good ,so sent them back as i cant use it for what it was intended for

Somit kann man die Litzen vernünftig verdrahten und es gibt keine Wackelkontakte.Auf einer Seite paßt das Befestigungsloch nicht genau und muß etwas nachgearbeitet werden.Das ist schon seit Jahren so, und scheinbar stört es auch Niemanden ausser mir.Geht prima mit einer kleinen Schlüsselfeile.

You can see from the photo that the screw terminals are misaligned, but what is not easy to show is the black sockets which are sufficently misaligned that I could not insert a TFT display. Luckily I bought 2 sets and one set worked with a bit of fiddling. The pair that I trialled seem to work, although I really can't recommend them: the first time that I have made such a comment in all the years I have been with Amazon.

Not expected and not easy to see from description that top and bottom connectors are not above each other.

This provides a very convenient way to connect securely to an Arduinoo UNO.Breadboard connections can be unreliable or intermittent. The terminal connectors are usefull for connecting supplies and sensors particularly for those new to developing projects on the Arduino platform.
