4 of 5 holders broke when placing 10oz bars inside.These don't fit well. I know they're supposed to, as 1 of them for perfectly, so that means it's the case

It looks and feels nice. Didn't fit my 10 oz royal Canadian mint 10oz bar like the pictures. But it the bar is probably bigger than the dimensions listed so I guess they covered their bases.

These are each 2-piece capsules that fit very tightly together and are well-made. I was impressed that they came with a small pry tool to open them, because you need it. You can't do it with your fingers, which is really good! I have a few 10oz bars and 250g bars that I thought would look nice in these holders. Well, as most of you stackers know, not all bars are the same. I tried putting a buffalo bar in, and it wouldn't fit. Since I took it out of it's vacuum sealed pack, I felt the need to get it in the holder. Well, in doing so, it cracked. The bar was just too big. I thought about trying one of my 250g (8oz) bars, but when I put it along side the holder, it was longer than the holder, so I knew it wouldn't fit. Overall, these are great capsules, but be aware they don't fit all bars. I ended up using them for some 5oz bars - they fit without issue and are no a little easier to lug around without losing.
