I bought this to go on my Yamaha T7. Anytime you go aftermarket, nothing is going to lineup and fit exact. That’s just the nature of aftermarket products. Yamaha doesn’t make a 6 gallon tank. You will struggle to get everything to lineup correctly as far as the panels and fairings. You may have to Dremel a few connection points. Acerbis is one of the best products on the market. You just have to be ready to accept the limitations of aftermarket.

I was taking a two month trip down to Mexico and I didn’t like the amount of fuel that my bike carried. I’m glad I bought this tank because I almost ran out of fuel twice even with the extra 2 gallons. The biggest comfort was not having fuel anxiety on most days though. It’s worth it.

Direct fit gas tank with extra capacity for my Yamaha Tenere 700. Easy to install and all bolt holes lined up with attachment points. Great product and fast delivery.

The fit was not perfect, getting it to sit all the way down was challenging. Getting the fairing panels bolted to it was also not fun. The mounting holes were a little off. Fuel gauge reads full for a long time now. The low level light can be run on for a long time too, the distance to empty is quite a bit shorter than what it will actually do.
