Huele mucho a tinta, es un trozo de tela cortado que se deshilacha, dudo mucho de que sea auténticamente japonés.

Terrific product. Ends are not finished, so after washing, you may have to cut off a few threads, but they are comfortable, cool and very functional as head-scarves, which is how I use them. Love them!

Nice towels. You just need to wash them a few times and they get softer. Yes the top and bottom ends will ravel but don't be concerned about it as they will soon tighten and the fraying will stop. they are light weigh, which I love and I just hand wash them quick and throw over a chain and the next minute they are dry. They are very useful and can folded up quite small. I even take tucked in my purse. They also make wonderful cloth napkins, extra dry or wet towel in the kitchen. I am constantly cooking and use these to wipe my hands over and over. They can also be decorative, some ar even made for that very purpose. I have a few of those around my home. One in the kitchen on the wall of course. When you fold them up they take up almost no space at all. they are definately a different concept but one very worthy of tried and true uses in a country that is very simple and practical. I love to learn about different things from other lands that can make my life a little easier and more fun too. I have about 16 of them now.......yes I do USE them A LOT!
