I was actually surprised. It is heavier and bigger than it looks in the picture. I looks and feels well made and my swr was 1:1- 1: across 10/15/20 meters. Those are the only bands I've checked so far. Thumbs up so far.

,the ,measurement should be 1 to 1 swr but is 1.2 to 1 and the antennas I use are 1.1 to one???

Works with all my radios.

Bigger than I thought, but size does have to be big for 100watts. It does check out to be 50ohms and works very good for a 100watt radio or smaller.

This is a better dummy load than the MFJ-260C. This one takes high power for longer time, and has much lower SWR at VHF and UHF.SWR vs. frequency:1.04:1 at 50 MHz1.10:1 at 147 MHz1.15:1 at 222 MHz1.25:1 at 430 MHz1.26:1 at 600 MHzAfter running it at 100W for 25 minutes, the hottest point was 134C above room air temp. At that point I added a 12V 1.2W 3-inch fan (from a desktop computer) which cooled it to 52C above room air. It will run forever at 100W with a small fan. Without the fan it looks like it would have stabilized at about 150C temperature rise, but being conservative I added the fan before it got there. The end plate with the connector is where the heat is generated, meaning that's where the resistor is. The rest of the length is just heatsink. The end farthest from the connector was about 34C cooler than the hot end, with no fan.To answer the question whether it will run continuously at 100W, I say yes, as long as you give it air from a fan. It might be OK running continuously without a fan, but it will be very hot. I estimate 175C (150 temperature rise above 25C air). That's 347F. With the fan, 52C temperature rise above 25C room air is 77C (171F).Resistance vs. temperature: At room temperature mine is 50.6 ohms. At 100W continuous with a small cooling fan it was 51.3 ohms. At 100W for 25 minutes and no cooling fan it was 52.0 ohms, which would give an SWR of 1.04:1 with a 50 ohm cable. So high temperature causes a negligible increase in SWR.I can recommend this dummy load.
