Other reviewers seemed to rate the contact quality in these tiny breadboards over the bigger ones available here, so I got some of these to try out - so far, they seem pretty good. Basically, I can recommend them, though I wasn't so keen on the included jumper wires and I would have liked more dimensional information in the product description. What arrived was not *exactly* as pictured - mine don't have the embossed numbers and letters identifying the rows and columns, but the quality of the moulding is good and he contacts seem good enough so far, plus these are cute and small and can be tucked into lego models and stuff.Worth noting that 17 rows isn't enough for a standard Pi Pico board, though you still have useful room around something like an ATTiny. The breadboards themselves seem pretty good but the supplied jumper wires, while adequately functional, have a foul smell, like the nastiest recycled plastic, which is what I assume the connector ends are made of. Think pound-shop bin bags. Moreover, the ends are poorly finished and a bit oversized so you can't place many of these in a single row in adjacent columns, the outer ones will be angled outwards, unlike standard Dupont leads which fit at .1" intervals over any number of them. I'm mostly avoiding them because of the smell, though. Maybe I'm unlucky or especially sensitive to it, but it's pretty bad. I should reiterate that the breadboards themselves do NOT smell bad, and are of much better quality than the jumper wires - I consider the breadboards worth 5 stars at the price, and don't care about the wires.I was wondering what other breadboards they might be compatible with before buying them - I have some K&H Protoboard which is better quality but much more expensive. Turns out these ones are around the same height (about 9mm including the foam sticky pad on the bottom) but the dovetail nubbins on these are much smaller (5mm tall, 4mm wide at the widest, tapering in to about 3mm) so they won't clip to the sides of the K&H stuff. Also, at 17 rows long, they don't really fit together neatly in alternate orientations, but then they will stick to a baseboard in whatever arrangement you like, and are great used standalone or small groups. The contacts are not as reassuringly smooth as the K&H ones, I get the impression they'd be "snaggier" with gnarly bits of wire, but they haven't given me any trouble so far and I've used them a surprising amount over just a few days, they're a really handy size. The mounting holes are placed at a weird and annoying separation - they are 2mm holes at the base (covered by the sticky foam) counter-bored at the top to a depth of 3mm and a diameter of 3.5mm. The board overall is more or less exactly 46mm long (and 34.5mm wide), and the outer edges of the 3.5mm counter bores are 3mm from the ends, i.e. the holes are 40mm between their outer edges, 36.5mm between centres - you cant just slightly enlarge a couple of holes on standard matrix board, for example, and have them line up (which you could have were they 35.6mm apart instead). You could I guess bolt two of these back to back for an intriguing double-sided vertical mounting breadboard, or stack them with standoffs between them - I suspect the idea for the holes was probably to put self-tapping screws through into a baseboard.Overall, I'm very pleased with the mini breadboards; I didn't buy them for the jumper wires so the fact that those aren't so good doesn't bother me.

The modules can be plugged interlocked, although they resulting matrix might not be entirely flat. The electrical connections seemed to be fine.Overall they are usable and I found them to be useful.
