No instruction, the big top piece, two types, a few more items were not there. It is very disappointed as it was a Xmas gift for my child.

Great, robust and still lightweight kit. Lots of mounting holes and I built a custom robot with it. I drive both engines at full 12 Volts and they have lots of speed and torque.

Sturdy base, but had an issue with the tracks at first. Customer service were very helpful and polite. Was able to get the issue sorted quickly and it drives like a charm.

Pros:1. Works2. High bottom profileCons:0. Motors outputs are different! 350 RPM declared, but actually one outputs ~330 RPM and other ~360 RPM (measured using laser tachometer with both Pololu driver and direct 3x 18650 connection)1. Ultra low-quality single-use screws. Screw drives are made of very soft metal. Some screws are even not straight (see the image)!2. Low-quality wheels. Every wheel has different friction level, one of them almost isn't rolling.3. Some assembly operations should be reversed for better access to the other parts while assembling.Summary: the idea itself is good, but the implementation is very poor. I've expected better quality for €99.

- The kit is simple, the quality of metal parts is good, as in, no alignment issues for me. Anodization is impressive.- The kit contains spare parts. (screws, nuts, track pieces)- The motor shaft fastening method (screw interference on key) to the driver wheel felt a bit funky with the screw sticking out.- The instructions could be better but they got the job done. Mistakes I did were not first aligning the driver wheel to the driven wheels (so the track would be running diagonal, not good), and fastening completely the driven wheels before putting on the track (it is easier to put on if one wheel is a bit loose). The kit took about an hour to build and test.At 8V (I plan to use a 2s lipo) the noload (spinning on air) current with track installed was 0.3A. When the motor was stalled(motor movement blocked), it drew about 2.2A. After 10 seconds of stalling, it was still cool. The torque felt sufficient.

Everything went together fairly well and the motors worked. They included spare screws and nuts, and that's really appreciated. I did lose one of the screws that hold on one of the sprocket wheels, but since I had an extra I was saved! I suggest anyone building this use some blue(medium) locktight on those screws. Some very minor complaints:* Wires on the motors are super thin. Like, 26awg? They do work and haven't melted yet.* Motor wires were the same color. There is a small marking on each motor so I was able to figure it out.* The wrench/screw driver were low-quality, but that's fine - they were "free"* They didn't include a tool for the small bolts.* I needed to bend a few of the metal parts to make it all fit. Some notes on my project:- Raspberry Pi Zero W- L298N Motor Drive Controller- 12v lipo battery pack

In Summary: This tank chassis is very high quality, easy to build with included tools, and very versatile! The product comes shipped very well, parts are compartmentalized in solid packing foam. All metal frame parts protected by plastic bags or wrap, so they are in pristine condition. Using the online instruction PDF provided in the product description, the pictures and diagrams are very easy to follow, and are entirely in English. Assembly takes about 75-90 minutes at a comfortable pace. After assembly, some brief tests with my bench power supply provide a no-load current at 10 volts of around 600ma, and a stall current of only around 1 amp (per motor). These feel like they have a lot of torque and pulling power! As note, I have the top tensioner wheel a lot lower than in the assembly diagram, so your results may differ. All of the carrier wheels are on sealed bearings for low rolling resistance and long product life. When finished, there are many extra nuts and bolts that can be used to mount your accessories or sensors, or can be kept as spares. The chassis also provides many mounting holes with great flexibility for adding micro-controllers, sensors, servos, speed-controllers, and accessories. This is a high quality unit, I am looking forward to designing many future projects with this highly versatile platform!
