I remember that back in the 1970's how strong, durable and easy to sharpen to a long, tapered point this X-Acto sharpener was. Now with grandkids going to school and always needing to sharpen, I decided to invest the money in a "quality" sharpener. How times have changed! The metal is flimsy and easily bendable. I am guessing that if I need to change the pencil hole diameter often, it will not last very long. Trying to secure the base, the screwhead stripped on one. Another screw broke off at the head. I will need to buy new screws and will have a difficult time getting the stripped and broken screw out. Be sure to pre-drill holes for less aggravation, although you will still have problems. I am disappointed in my purchase.

Es gibt einfach bessere… Man muss ihn festschrauben, man kann ihn dadurch nicht entleeren.

What a blast from the past! This fun, wall mounted pencil sharpener has been a great addition to our homework space. It is easy to uncouple the chrome barrel from the black base, to make installation that much easier. Pencil sizing is as easy as spinning the sizing wheel. Insert the blunt pencil and turn the handle. This model is great value for money, and has great novelty value, for kids and adults alike.

The quality seems good, but it's very hard to use without fastening it to a table, and it has to be screwed into the table (making holes in the table).

Billigstes Produkt, und dann auch noch zum Anschrauben … Tische kann man auch anders ruinieren

Dieser Spitzer ist mir aus den U.S.A. bekannt und in der Regel unschlagbar. Super für Kinder bei hoher Beanspruchung. Doch dieser Artikel entspricht absolut nicht der Artikelbeschreibung. Angeblich würde er aus Metall bestehen. So kenne ich ihn auch. Doch dieser ist aus sehr dünnem und billigem Kunststoff gefertigt. Aufgrund des ungeeigneten mitgelieferten Befestigungsmaterials fiel er beim ersten Gebrauch von der Wand und zerbrach in mehrere Stücke. Leider muss man zumindest ei en Stern vergeben um die Bewertung zu senden. Verdient hat er jedoch keinen

The only problem with this device is that if the device is not fixed onto something you can't sharpen anything.With other devices, there is a mechanism to safely lock the pencil to be sharpened.Like this, you don't require to push the pencil constantly.

Absoluter Billigkram!Die Befestigung am Tisch ist mühselig, der Auffangbehählter wackelt, die Fräsen sind nicht scharf, sobald sich ein Stück Miene verteilt hat muss man alles zerlegen.
