This is a small metal watch carabiner. It's metal and has a spring loaded gate to make it easy to clip on to almost anything. I've attached it to machinery being used like grass cutters, or toolboxes, or hung from roof beams. When not being hung you can easily snap it onto a belt loop which makes it wonderfully easy to transport, and not lose it.It is built to a good quality and feels both heavy and secure in hand.The watch is a quartz (battery) movement and keeps good time. It is accurate. The face has a glow in the dark finish which makes it easy to read in low light. There is also a rotating bezel which is really useful for tracking time. It is a bit clunky but it worksThe carabiner is solid and can easily snap onto a line or loop. There is a bottle opener on it to.Theydo include a little compass that works if the whole thing is held flat. This is accurate.Good quality and value. Recommended. Thank you for reading my review. It's great to see that this item is made from solid black coloured metal rather than plastic, giving it a really nice tactile feel and quality appearance. Mine arrived without instructions, so in case yours does too, I opened it to check the battery - it uses a single SR626SW battery (also known as an AG4).The watch face is clear and easy to read, with a rotating bezel that provides a satisfying clicking feel. The entire face is luminescent, though it relies on prior exposure to bright light for maximum effect. The glass comes with a very thin, removable plastic protective layer that is so transparent it can be easy to overlook. The winder is initially pulled out and secured by a small red plastic clip - simply remove the clip, set the correct time, and push the winder back in to get started.The bottle opener, being made of metal, works flawlessly, and the carabiner features a solid spring mechanism, making it easy to clip onto various items securely.The compass, however, is a total waste of space. It occasionally moves and even points north sporadically, but I suspect most users will have access to a more reliable compass. I certainly will.Overall, it's a neat little accessory to clip onto a rucksack or similar. While somewhat gimmicky, it could make a great gift for an outdoors type of person.
