This is the first time that I have purchased these Wolverine brand of socks, and I am very pleased and satisfied with this purchase. I only purchase, and wear, THICK Socks, and these socks have definitely "met the bill"! The entire sole of the sock is very "cushiony", to help keep your feet warm. I am very impressed with how these socks "stay in place", and do not rotate around your foot, where they need to be readjusted and re-positioned. I am so pleased with these Wolverine socks, I recently placed another order for them.

Extra cushion and work very well with steel toe boots. Especially when you are on your feet all day. Definitely worth the cost

These are great work boot socks. Good value for the money.I am a construction worker and I am hard on socks. These have thick padding on bottom and breathe well. Keep your feet warm.I've used Carhartt, hiking socks from REI, and some others, none are as comfortable or last as long.I get about 9 months out of these socks (6 months of real comfort then the elastic starts to go out and they are harder to get on and off).It takes the full 9 months for the elastic to wear out and the padding to smash into a thin layer. Which is about the lifespan of a good workboot.TIP: don't wash them in hot water with the whites and the elastic will last longer. Wash in warm with your regular colors or even cold if they will come out clean.
