diese gga 420 habe ich als Ersatz für meine Wolfang GA 200 gekauft weil mir diese habe fallen lasseen und nun einen Blinden Fleck m sonst guten Bild hhabe .Kunstofflinse zerkratzt . das ist halt günstiger Kunstoff bei den Preisen von Wolfang .ich habe auuch eine Gopro ,, ich filme aber mehr mit der Wolfang weil mich diese mehr übrrzeugt . ich und meine Frauu filmen viel am Wasser und vooom Kajak aus bei der GA 420 iist mir negativ aufgefallen das die Bedienknöpfe sehr schwer gehen . man muss mit viel kraft drücken . leider ist auch die Bedienanleituung nicht sehr gut . zb habe ich darin nichts gefunden wie man das vordere kleine Display einschaltet,, das musste ich mühsam im Internet recherchieren . ich meine auf das vordere Display könnte ich auch eh verzichtenjetzt wo ich weis das man den Mode knopf lange drücken muss . grade der ist aber sehr schwergängig und während der video Aufnahme kann man eh nicht umschalten .es geht auuch nur entweeder oder, beide gleichzeitig geht nicht . ich will aber nicht zu streng sein , daher kein Punktabzug . iich erwarte von dieser cam eben nicht mehr als von der 4mal teureren konkurenz . das beigelegte zubehör ist zum teil unbrauchbarer Murks, aber ich habe genügend Halter, das ist ja überwiegen kompatibel also alles gut . ich hab die ja gekauft das es nicht so weh tut wenn sie ins wasser etc fällt . aber für meine you Tube Vlogs reicht die Wolfang zur Genüge

Als Anfänger tat ich mich anfangs sehr schwer mit der Cam, aber dank des überragenden Support von Wolfang, der mir bei allen Schwierigkeiten half, kam ich nach und nach klar mit der GA 420, Akkulaufzeit Bild und Video Qualität bekomme ich jetzt gut geregelt, und dank des Wolfang Action Cam Selfi Sicks, in dem ein 2600 mAh Akku verbaut ist, mit der man die Cam während des Betriebs laden kann, was vorher nicht möglich war, brauch ich mir praktisch einen ganzen Tag lang keine Gedanken um die Stromversorgung machen. Zur Cam selbst, die mit reichhaltigen Zubehör geliefert wurde z.B. Fernbedienung, Unterwassergehäuse externes Micro und vielen Befestigungsmöglichkeiten, für die man bei teuereren Geräten nochmal viel Geld hinlegen muss, bleiben einem keine Möglichkeiten verwehrt. Den Tauch und Fahrmodus hab ich noch nicht probiert, sehe hier aber nach diesen Erfahrungen keine Probleme. Nur die Bildqulität beim Hochladen der Videos auf z.B. YouTube ist nicht ok, auf dem PC betrachtet sind Filme top, find ich seltsam. Beim Betrachten der Filme von anderen YuoTubern, sieht es nicht besser aus, obwohl die meisten Cams benutzen die wesentlich teurer sind. Scheint also nicht an der Kamera zu liegen. Eins stört mich an jedoch an der Cam, nähmlich das man während des Betriebes nicht vom hinteren auf das vordere Display umschalten kann, man muss das Video stoppen. Weiß aber nicht ob bei GoPro und Co möglich ist. Wie auch immer ich bin froh diese Cam für diesen Preis gefunden habe, die mir sehr viel Spaß macht. Übrigens auch Tonqualität ist super, bis auf Wind Geräusche, die man mit dem externen Micro in den Griff bekommt, in dem man das Micro ganz oben unter den Kragen, der Jacke, dem Hemd versteckt. Zum Abschluss noch eine Erfahrung mit dem Wolfang Support, die schon Ausserirdisch ist: hab die Fernbedienung während meines letzten Urlaubs verloren. Als ich mich mit dem Support in Verbindung gesetzt habe, um eine neue zu besorgen, wurde mir eine neue Fernbedienung zugeschickt, ohne sie mir in Rechnung zu stellen, keine Versandkosten, nichts, hab ich bis jetzt noch nicht realisiert, was soll man dazu sagen. ich spreche hier guten Gewissens ein Kaufempfelung aus. Würde 6 Sterne geben wenn das möglich wäre.

Great little camera for the price. I bought the GA420 to use mainly on our boat and while snorkelling. So far it’s exceeded ecxpectations; ran a time lapse video while navigating our local river (Rideau) which was about 1.5 hours real time. One battery did it at 1 second intervals at 2.7K and the result was excellent. Also jumped in the water a few times without the diving case on it and the videos were great. I wasn’t expecting GOPro quality and this doesn’t quite hit that mark but for a fun bit of filming and capturing memories, it’s great. Also, the build quality is fantastic, it’s just heavy enough and the alloy feels good. No issues at all getting the little doors opened or closed as some YouTube videos claim. Really a nice, price friendly camera.

Videos im hellen sind gut sobald es dunkler wird finde ich die Qualität nicht so gut. Was mir besonders gefällt ist auch ohne Extragehäuse wasserdicht um spontan mal in eine Fluss oder ähnliches zu halten. Ton ist für die kleine cam auch ganz gut.Das Geld wert.Würde ich wieder kaufen.

Das Gehäuse der Kamera macht einen hochwertigen Eindruck. Lieder lassen sich die Bedienknöpfe nur schwer (viel Druck ausüben) bedienen. Die Speicherkarte lässt sich nicht so einfach aus dem Gerät entnehmen. Der größte und für mich entscheidende Negativpunkt war die sehr schlechte Aufnahmequalität bei schlechter oder ungünstiger Beleuchtung. Das auftretende Bildrauschen (verpixelt) ist sehr stark. Im Vergleich zur billigen Action Cam ungewöhnlich stark und deutlich stärker ausgeprägt.

I've purchased 3 Wolfang action cameras; GA100, GA300 and this most recent purchase GA420. I feel Wolfang is a great quality/value combination. This camera line fills my need and my budget.If you're looking to dip your toe in and have an easy to use entry level action camera, start with the GA100. It has most of what you need to get a feel for how you might use this type of camera. I was impressed, and I still use the GA100 if I'm using multiple cameras while recording. My second camera was the GA300 and I really like that it uses the same batteries as the GA100, has touchscreen and the external microphone was improved and software was upgraded with wind noise reduction mode and better image stabilization.Satisfied with my 1st two Wolfang cameras, I decided to add another to give me a 3rd viewpoint on my adventure rides. If you want to buy just one camera and are willing to spend just a little more, I suggest going with the GA420.This is now my primary action camera (helmet cam when riding/chest mount or stick-cam when hiking).The construction of the camera is more robust (all metal case). The battery is more robust - 2hr/battery recording time right out of the box (50%+ more). The external microphone is important to me as I use the cam attached to a boom mic inside my helmet. The audio is very clear with no wind noise. I like that I can now use the camera without the waterproof case. I still have to plug in the external mic, so there is some exposure...but greatly reduced due to the sealed camera construction.I have not had issues with my other Wolfang cameras, however I can tell this camera (GA420) has sturdier construction. It is heavier. Has a metal case and sealed access doors to the battery/card and jack ports.The other major feature is the front facing screen. I can see how this will be very useful to ensure an in-frame shot when recording while facing the camera.I really like the WiFi/mobile app. I use it when initially setting up the cameras to make sure I have the camera properly positioned. I occasionally use the app to start and stop the recording and check short test shots before setting out on an hour ride/recording session. I usually have the WiFi turned off during rides to save on battery life. During a day's Adventure Recording, I usually will go through 2 or 3 sets of batteries so the increased battery time on the 420 is great...the trade off is that the batteries are not interchangeable with the GA100 and 300. No big issue as a charger and 3 batteries can be purchased separately for about $20.I'm not a video expert, so I'm not the one to say the video quality is "such and such"...but for me (the average Joe), it looks great and I haven't been disappointed with the video qualify. I've played around with some of the video adjustments you can make, but I usually use the "auto" mode or default settings.The next upgrade I'd like to see Wolfang add is Telemetry(GPS/Altitude) overlays and Bluetooth mic capability...that would be a fun addition. I'm currently getting the Telemetry by using a 3rd party phone app.
