Some reviewers seem to be referring to a different (plastic) product from the same manufacturer. This product has a steel shell and is well made, with screws that can be removed if you need to reopen the shell for any reason. All necessary hardware is supplied. This is the best option I've seen if you want a surface-mounted receptacle.

I was looking for a wall mount receptacle to replace a bulb fixture in my basement shop, i.e., an easy install; this worked perfectly. The facing is plastic, but the box is metal. The metal box has many options to make a notch on the side and a grounding screw.

De muy buena calidad en su diseño y materiales, estético en su tamaño y de mayor durabilidad en comparación con productos locales, en mi primer pedido los utilice para habilitar dos nuevos contactos y en mi segundo pedido para sustuir los que había instalado hace un par de años de material plástico. Lo recomiendo.

Ran these for my range microwave and cabinet lighting. Low Profile and looks great. A bit hard to work under the low profile but very doable. Smart outlet controller for my cabinet lighting.
