I've been using a Round #2 version of this brush for about half a year, and I'm impressed. I use the brush exclusively for painting miniatures to play tabletop games like Warhammer 40k, and Warmachine. The point of the brush is fine enough for detail work on these 1-2" tall miniatures.Just because I didn't know this when I bought the brush, the phrase "miniature" in the name means that this brush has a short stunted point compared to the regular brushes. This is great for me, because it makes fine detail work much easier. This could be bad for some people, because it means there's less hairs in the brush. Less hairs means the brush holds less paint, and I have to dip the brush into my palette a lot more often than with a normal brush.Overall, this brush is excellent and I love it. I feel like I can do detail work that I normally use a much smaller brush for, but I can still apply broad strokes of paint like I do with a normal #2 brush. The only downside is that I have to dip the brush into the paint a lot more often than I do with a normal brush, but that's a small price to pay for me. Your mileage may vary.
