Works well for what I wanted! I use it to achieve consistant temperature steaming milk for my latte - I did not test the temperature to see if it's accurate, but it is consistant which is what I care about. I get predictable temp every time.

Get a bigger dial that is easier to read. Or has a better scale with well marked gradations. Good quality, though. I use reading glasses.
