1st rooe i bought was not cotton. returned it. It wasnweird, felt like wax coated. This cotton rope is notmal, good rope. I cut 3' off it to help me learn though.

I get that this is just a piece of rope but if trick roping is what you want to do this will do the trick. There are a lot of videos on how to learn - it takes a lot of time but once you get it, you will get it! I bought this shorter rope for a young fella. Longer ropes are good for bigger loops. Good luck!

The loop is held together with a single stitch and electrical tape that came undone the first day. So for the price go to your local hardware store and buy some cotton rope for a couple of dollars.

Nice rope. You will learn the basics quick with this rope. Just like it's advertised on the stage prop flyer.." if you need to learn on a pinch"... A couple days and I was able to do the basics.
