Despite what any one might say, this timer is fairly simple to program. From setting the current time, which is in military, to programming the on and off intervals, then finally pressing the manual button until it reads auto. You’re all set. The Achilles heal of this timer is the internal battery. Its good for 3 years, but who knows how long it has been running already. Now, in the event that it does go bad after it is in service, you can pry it open and solder in a fresh LR44 battery. This device mounts in a DIN rail, and the coil operates with 120 VAC. Then you can apply up to 110 volts to pin 4 and use that to switch a device on or off when the timer fires.Cheers
