I am now able to create cards and scrapbooking pages for circular designs. This rotating precision press is easy to use. I obtained guidance from YouTube videos.

Makes things easier to do. Not an absolute necessity, but if it’s in your budget, nice to have does not take up a great amount of room.

There have been several rotating type stamp presses out there and I hadn’t taken the plunge yet. When this became available I watched the video and decided it was absolutely worth trying. For one thing it is small. It’s not going to hog a lot of real estate in my craft room. That is a big bonus right away.Another point is that this can handle paper of almost any size up to a full sheet of scrapbook 12x12 paper, even though the machine is only 6x11 inches in size.The stamp press works by using very strong magnets to hold your paper in place. The holder then turns with very distinct clicking at intervals so that it’s nearly impossible to really mess up with positioning. I just chose how many clicks worked for the stamp position I wanted, and kept it consistent. Although there are numbers on the dial that I admit that I ignored them completely. There was no figuring numbers to do what I did to test this. I just turned to the spot where the stamp looked good and kept the number of clicks consistent…3 clicks worked for most of my designs and the flamingo one you see in the photo was only 2 clicks apart. It was super simple!The only small drawback I see, and it’s a SMALL one, is that there is no way to stamp in the center of a design…there will always be a clear center that because that is where the magnet goes. Seriously that is NOT a "problem" because there are a million ways to work with that unstamped center, from putting a picture there, another stamp, a sentiment or even a die cut, or just leaving it clear, so it’s just the way the press works. The press always makes a “wreath” with a clear center of 2 inches. I do plan to put a squirrel stamp in the middle of the acorn and leaf design for example.The magnets are very strong and the paper that I used, a fairly thin white cardstock, stayed in place very well. The platform is large enough to hold stamps that are quite big too, so a wreath of large designs is totally possible.The press platform is marked clearly for positioning square papers up to a 12 inch piece of scrapbook paper. It’s easy to put the square sheets centered in the press. I haven’t yet, but I am sure you can use other paper shapes in the press if you simply decide where your center should be. A rectangular 5x7 for example would “fit” just not in the provided lines. by marking where the middle of your design will be this press can be used for any shaped sheet of paper or cardstock. That gives this press a huge amount of versatility.This is another wonderful product from We R Memory Keepers that will give all those random odds and ends of stamps a brand new life. Being able to make circles or arcs with stamps so quickly and easily gives me many ideas about ways to use old stamps I already own.The samples I made were done in about 2 hours. There were no “throw-aways”. Even though I like some better than others, they are all usable designs that honestly were not carefully thought out or planned…I just grabbed some random tiny stamps that I hadn’t used before. To have this sort of success without having a huge learning curve makes this a top notch product in my book. It’s so easy, quick and fun that I will be grabbing this to make fun wreath backgrounds and cards often. This tool is staying.

love this as not only can you stamp circles for cards up to 8 x8 [which is the largest templates i could find] this will allow you to stamp circles onto a scrapbook page - very easy to use
