Wenn ihr den PI nicht direkt hinter dem Screen verbaut, benötigt ihr ein längeres DSI Kabel.

Das Display wurde am Raspberry pi 3+ verbaut und es funktionierte sofort. Die Helligkeit , der Kontrast und die Bedienung des Touchscreen sind sehr gut. Ich würde es wieder kaufen

Raspberry Pi is a simple to program device that can display most if not all your creations and creativity you allow it to . Simple to use if you are familiar with coding and computer functions. They also have many other compatible buttons , switches ect that are easy to program through the pie. The screens are durable and work similar to a tablet when programmed. This one specifically had great display , responsive touch display . Great Quality product for a reasonable price point .

Don’t know if I just got a defective unit or not but after trying on 2 separate raspberry pi’s (3B+ and 4B) and 4 different ribbon cables (the 2 included with the display and 2 I already had) it does not work.The information on waveshare’s wiki for it is useless, from what I can tell they offer no drivers and assume the default system drivers for the official Raspberry pi 7 inch display with drive it. However they do not drive it and it just causes the raspberry pi board to throw an LP1 Contention error because it’s unable to communicate properly with the display unit.All of this was done on all the latest updates for the official raspberry pi OS and I exhausted all the information on waveshares wiki trying to get it to work as well as whatever forum articles I could find on Raspberry pi’s website.TL;DR: it’s a useless paperweight do not buy it just get the official display because you get what you pay for.

Eigentlich habe ich das Display bestellt, um es am Raspi5 zu betreiben. Lt. Beschreibung kein Problem.Die Realität sie ein bisschen anders aus. Mir scheint die Zubehörtüte ziemlich geplündert zu sein.Das Ergebnis war jedenfalls ernüchternd, ich konnte das Display nicht einmal an den Raspi5 anschließen, weil das Flachkabel hier gefehlt hat. Wiedermal viel Aufwand für nichts! :-(Schade.Ich habe vorsichtshalber eine zweite Bestellung getätigt. Hier fehlen die Kabel auch. Will man das Display mit einem Raspi5 betreiben, muss ein zusätzliches DSI Kabel für den Raspi5 geordert werden.

Display hat auf Anhieb am Pi 4B funktioniert. Helligkeit und Kontrast sind gut.

Ich verwende das Display für Volumio auf einem Raspberryp Pi. Nach Installation des Touchscreen Plugins hat es sofort ohne Probleme funktioniert. Die Bildqualität, Aflösubg und Helligkeit sind für diesen Zweck gut geeignet.

I went through several touchscreens for my pi which also controls my 3d printer and acts as the touch interface for it. All of them were HDMI with GPIO touch and even with drivers installed, they never fit the screen right, would have windows cut off and touch/multitouch is impossible without a tiny stylus you lose every time you turn around... Pus.. don't get me started on the adventures required jut to track down drivers at times..This display was the OPPOSITE... I plugged in the connector cable for the DSI port on the Pi4 and turned it on... that was it. Raspbian worked perfectly with responsive "FINGER" based touch, the desktop fit the screen without anything cut off and the colors just look rich and vibrant.I highly recommend. The Pi4 has a DSI/CSI interface for display and camera for a reason.. so USE IT! :)
