This screen offers excellent viewing angles and vibrant colors. I tested it using esphome and found limited support for the controller. I managed to get it to display correctly after defining an offset for the screen, but the colors are still off. Eventually, I'll write a custom component, but for now, it works well enough.

I am impressed by the quality of this screen, being only 65k color and this price, I expected another blurry cheap screen, but that is not at all what I got. The quality is very good. I have been using it with my ESP32-S3 MCU. The screen does 240x240 which is a decent upgrade from the 128x64 screens I was using for my project, plus it is color. The screen is viewable from practically all angles without any blur or washout.

Initial review was responded to by Waveshare...I was quite careful with this screen while I was writing code to display what I wanted, and then a day after it was ready the screen developed a crack from the bottom right hand corner to the center and now everything below the center is corrupted rendering the thing useless.Also, point to note, I bought this with a view to using it on a Raspberry Pico, but I could only get default microPython framebuffer to work so the text was way too small. Larger fonts only worked on a full Pi.---Updated now due to the excellent support I got from Waveshare. They responded to my review and sent me a replacement which works perfectly, and now I have found some code which works on the Pico with large fonts.Great little screenThanks Mandy from support :D
