We got this to play at our son's breakfast theme birthday party. The kids had such a great time playing it. Easy to understand and play. We had kids ages 3-12 at the party and they all enjoyed it. Highly recommend.

Waffle Topple is a straightforward game that challenges you to roll a die, select a waffle topping, and then add it to the waffle stack on top of a precarious wooden fork. Make sure to place your toppings carefully, or they'll fall and the person who last successfully placed a piece will get some of the breakfast for their own stash to score points! This game comes nicely packaged in a compact box with zero-plastic wrapping inside, and the pieces are well made out of laminated board. The fork tolerances are perfect for securely placing two waffles in vertically for a bit of added challenge. The art is well executed, although we were honestly a little disappointed that the kawaii waffle from the product listing wasn't present in the actual game art - all of the actual waffle pieces are realistic without cute faces. There isn't a lot of depth to the game - it's classic manual dexterity, for the most part, although there are a few rules to keep in mind around certain items not being able to touch others as you stack. The pieces are all flat, so the stacking isn't that complex... what does keep it a bit fresh is the 'custom rule' dynamic, which gives players a 1 in 6 chance of adding a silly additional rule to the game (like placing pieces only with your index fingers, or humming a tune while placing pieces.)Waffle Topple is definitely on the simplistic side, but I'm not mad at it - it's a great simple game to break out with a younger audience, or something to try with a tipsy older crowd when complex board games are a bit beyond everyone's ability. With a compact box and affordable price, it's a low-impact addition to your collection.

So far the kids have enjoyed it at my work. The game is extremely simple to learn. The pieces are nice looking and made of wood. The art work is nice and all around it's a good game. However, the fork that came with mine doesn't quite stand up straight. The bottoms of it is slightly off level and makes the pieces fall down much faster. I wish it was level, I was disappointed with how the game played out.
