My hubby loves Volcom gear but be aware that it does run a bit small in the waist and these board shorts are no different. There isn't any stretch to them either, so possibly size up. These also aren't lined, for better and worse. I imagine they may cling a bit when wet, but my husband hasn't worn them in the water yet. I like the diagonal pattern and drawstring front. The length is spot on for a taller person who likes shorts that fall closer to their knee, and very reminiscent of boardshorts from the early 2000s. All in all these seem like a good buy for the money.

This bathing suit fit my son properly. He is 5 feet 10 inches tall, just over 200 pounds, and we ordered Size 40 - which fit properly.The fabric is soft with reasonable amount of stretch to allow for easy movement.It dried quickly after exiting the poolThe stitching is good with no gaps or puckers and no loose threads.The design is nice and well printed on the fabric with no smears or blotches.I think this swimsuit is good value.

I’ve been wearing these Volcom boardshorts for a few weeks now, and I’m honestly impressed. They fit just right—true to size—and the 20” length hits just above the knee, which I prefer for both swimming and walking around. They’re lightweight but don’t feel flimsy, and the stretch gives me a good range of motion whether I’m at the beach or just chasing my dog around the yard.One of the things I liked most was how fast they dry. I can hop out of the ocean, hang out for a bit, and they’re mostly dry within 20-30 minutes. The pocket on the side zips securely, which I like for holding my key or a few bucks if I’m walking to grab a drink.The waistband ties tight and stays put, even when diving or swimming. The material feels like it’ll hold up well over time—I’ve washed them a few times already and the color hasn’t faded.If I had to be picky, I’d say the zipper pocket could be a tiny bit bigger, but that’s a small gripe. Overall, these are great boardshorts that are comfortable, durable, and easy to wear all day. Definitely planning to get a second pair in another color.
