Voktta's new USB-C Test Meter is diminutive in stature, but massive in capabilities.Delivered in a simple plastic pouch, only an instruction sheet (English and Chinese languages only!) is included.Smaller than many USB sticks, the Tester is extremely compact!Despite the size, it is quite well made, with a bright screen covering most of one side, and a metal case. One side has a Female USB-C port, while the other has a Male USB-C connection. In usage, it does not matter which direction it is installed; the device will automatically adapt. To my surprise and delight, Data Transfer is also supported over the tester! This is very welcome, even if it is limited to USB 2.0 speeds 👍Usage is excessively simple.Just plug it in between the charger and device you are testing!A double click on the small button opposite the screen will flip the orientation, while single clicks will switch between the Graph, Simplified and Informative views. The grid size of the graph can also be adjusted, should you so chose to.Compared to my older tester, the screen is massively brighter! It is also much more compact, as measurements of USB-A and µUSB measurements have been dropped.Measurement accuracy matches my old tester, but at much higher resolution. It also refreshes the measurement several times a second, which is useful for spotting transient load spikes. Both testers also agree that the display on my charging cable is not at all accurate 😅The USB tester really is quite nice, and works very well. That said, there are a few things I feel could be improved.I strongly believe that a short USB-C extension cable should be included in the package. While very compact, the USB-C connector juts straight out of the side of the tester, making it too large to fit directly on many devices.Providing an extension cable would negate this issue, while additionally improving its durability.Even better would be if it had two female USB-C ports. This would make it much more durable (no male connector to break off), and let you use standard USB-C cables on both sides.Less of an issue for me is the graphing mode. While it works fine by itself, it always starts with an empty chart, whenever you switch to it.I feel that it should use the existing data from the current session automatically when switching to the graph mode.A minor issue overall, but this would be a nice QOL improvement. All said and done, I am impressed with this USB Tester. While it has a few minor flaws, it is very affordable (14€ at time of writing), highly accurate and well made.It even lets you transfer data, albeit at reduced speed, which is (or at least was) quite uncommon. An easy recommendation for anyone testing their device's power draw 👍

Schnelle Lieferung.
